Generally it's not. But to my surprise, one of my cousins has been using it for years and she has super oily skin. It proves how versatile our skin is.
None. Not cruelty free (unacceptable in this day and age). Hideous branding and all their products eventually caused me irritation or blind cystic acne. For oily skin The Ordinary Glucoside foaming cleanser worked much better, and for my husband's very dry skin again The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser is amazing. For acne prone skin the Inkey List Salicylic is amazing.
@@YoonSung-ve1jk please don't be ridiculous. A quick google should confirm CeraVe test on animals in countries where animal testing is required by law. Like China. Your ignorance is truly staggering!!! It's a well known fact!
Hi, it's really frustrating when products break us out. It could be a common ingredient used by CeraVe that you're allergic to. However, CeraVe, not being cruelty free is a misconception. No cosmetic brands do animal testing anymore as it is now banned all over the world by regulations. I can provide you some links if you'd like to know more about it 😊
@@DibasQuest I have a PhD and know how to find/cite research. If you google "is CeraVe cruelty free" you'll see that they aren't because they allow their products to be sold in China where testing is mandatory by law. Have a nice day spreading misinformation in the name of skincare education!
@@drc4168 What a rude person! It seems you got your PhD by google searching too yet didn't learn how to do it properly otherwise you would know that in 2021 Chinese NMPA incorporated a provision which now exempts imported cosmetics from providing animal testing data?! As far as I know, brands don't do animal testing anymore.
