Hey Jerry and Gilly, so happy to see the overwhelming support that the members gave to freeviewers like myself (someday I aspire to become a member myself and spread that happiness)! Excellent cameramanship and lovely conversation with 747 pilot Jordan! Looking forward to seeing you back in London Heathrow on Sunday. ✌
Watching from home in ANC. I work right across from the airport. See and hear these all day from there. And, when they take off to the east and turn north, right over my house. Loud and low.
Those mountains are stunning. I had never heard of the dream lifter so thank you for sharing that.
I couldn’t imagine not being a member and missing all of these anchorage shows 😵💫
Such a stunning location! And the Dreamlifter is simply awesome!
Watching on this replay. Totally enjoying this stream.
Absolutely stunning. Attention to detail on aircraft on take-off is second to none.
I love it when you come to Alaska. Wlcome!
Watched your podcast brilliant great to see the dream lifter with its bloated body anchorage stunning as ever love your shows ❤
JERRY! from :40-50, that's gotta be some of the greatest, prettiest, most crazy eclectic stuff I've seen any anybody's spotting channel ever. That was NUTS!
You're very best, and it just "happened"!
Hello, loving this location. The backdrop is stunning! I will signing up for membership in a bit 😊
Times are a bit tough at the moment...so a HUGE thanks to the members and Big Jet for allowing the free view...most appreciated
Replay squad 🙋🏾♀️
great show, thanks as always!
Fabulous..!!! Thankyou
The Dreamlifter is such an awesome plane the fact that it’s that heavy and still able to fly is insane
What a great view.
I can sit here and watch this all night ,the view is spectacular, well done guys from me darren collier in cwmbran.
Sorry to of missed it live due to work commitments however will enjoy on catch up this evening Stunning backdrop as expected It’s a beautiful place ❤
Great stuff!
If you've never flown from Orkney to land on Shetland on a SAAB 340 in severe turbulence, you ain't lived! (Thought we might die that day... but LOVED IT!)
Wow 🤩 great video and what a beast
Jumbo jets shark fin tail, with flat tip. I like these planes.
Hi All. As per comment much earlier re-winters being too long to want to live in Anchorage; I live in a place where winter days are only an hour longer than ANC. It's a state of mind thing that makes winters not just tolerable, but enjoyable! But then I'm retired, so it doesn't matter when I get up (-;)~
48:02 - What a shot! Gorgeous light
from wiki: The aircraft's winglets were removed to resolve excess vibration and other handling characteristics prior to final certification
Fuselage of the front of the dreamlifter, to me, reminds me of the very old, little Ffestiniog Railway tank engines. By the way I'm not poking fun I love steam engines too.
Jerry, emailed you the side by side tail shot of the Dreamlifter and -400.
TROUBLB With ANC. is That TREE as they Go LEFT ?
Reminds me of a beluga whale
Where’s the members channel.. signed up earlier today
morning all
At least the dreamlifter doesn't have any blanking panels to lose
747 heaven xx
what is the location?
What is a dreamlifter, we don't have these in Australia
Dreamlifter......174 tons right there.
Requesting an ASMR no commentary stream sometime please
2:09:00 (or thereabouts) chat with UPS FO
-8 is longer fuselage than -400
The dreamlifter looks like an old 200 series 747, hence the lack of winglets.
Or 300 series
The winglets of the Boeing 747-400LCF Dreamlifter had to be removed because of flutter in higher speeds during the flight because of the enlarged fuselage of this particular aircraft and the changes in the aerodynamics of the aircraft during higher speed! This is the reason why this aircraft has no winglets anymore and the reason why this aircraft has the restriction of speed of 878 km/h! That's it for your information about the Boeing 747-400LCF Dreamlifter and its wingshapes!
