Welcome to Mexico City, the busiest airport in Mexico and one of the busiest airports in Americas as a whole! The traffic is dominated by Aeromexico, Viva Aerobus and Volaris (as expected), however there's also plenty of foreign airlines that serve this airport, like Emirates, Iberia, Air France and more!
Mexico City was a focus for me to try and catch their police 727s in action, and that is exactly what I did! I was fortunate to get the exact type of shots I was aiming to when planning the trip. I spent a huge amount of time at the cafes at both ends of the airport and genuinely had an amazing time filming with an endless coffee supply right beside me.
I filmed at Mexico City beside my good friend Shaun from @StrayaAviation. You can find some similar videos being posted on his channel too!

The scene starting at 3:16, the lights of the residential area on the hill in Mexico City are really beautiful, like stars twinkling in the night sky. The appearance of the Lufthansa B748 taking off is also fascinating. And Aeromexico’s Quetzalcoatl livery B787(16:18) is always pretty.
Even though Mexico City does not have the best air quality, your video looks amazing. Thank you for visiting us. !!
You should go to Cancún. There is more diversity of planes than in Mexico City, especially the heavy ones.
Juan Gabriel epecial Viva Aerobus edition at 15:57 and 21:00 looking nice!
Welcome to Mexico, amigos, bienvenidos.
Welcome to Mexico! Amazing footage, first time I see MEX like this!
its nice to see more people coming to see planes here in mexico
Yeah, me emocioné al ver el B727 de la Guardia Nacional. Mi avion favorito, el rey de los cielos ese pájaro con sus tres potentes JTD, añora las épocas doradas de la aviación con los equipos de 3 y 4 engines.
Beautiful, waivy run way with it's undisturbed long horizon views, viewer from Philippines
That Guardia Nacional took a long time to lift off! ✈️
Thanks for coming to the beautiful Ciudad de mexico
My pleasure!
Beautiful plane spotting during takesoff and landings at Mexico City Airport 🇲🇽 ✈️ Thank you Matt @HDMelbourneAviation ✈️
Welcome to Mexico! Enjoy the country 😀
Thanks for choosing Mexico City International Airport!!! I hope you upload soonly another video from Mexico!!!
Loved the super short nose high landing of the Lufthansa 747. Great video thankyou
This is awesome. Great rare catches around noon, like the Turkish 787.
The queen of the Skies 747 such a Great plane

Thank you for the sacrifice breathing in that air quality.
Imagine as a mexican breathing that everyday
@@emmanuelmendoza2077yeah I guess Los Angeles or London have blue skies all year long. 🤡
Not nearly as bad as Hong Kong...🤮
@@thompsonriverrailfan DEL is worse.
@@Glideslopes very true, both are pretty disgusting countries.
amazing bro.!!
This is one of the best videos ever. I loved it for sure.
Amazing as always.
You’re in Mexico! I’ve always liked Aero Mexico’s livery. The first plane raised his gear like a fighter jet. 😂 No positive rate there. V1-Rotate-Gear Up!
Incredible video. Thanks for coming to México, you should visit Toluca Airport at 35 min from MX City, is the executive airport from Mexico
Thank you very much! I’ve seen some great stuff at Toluca, definitely somewhere I wanna visit next time along with spending more time at that new airport!
Uma beleza de aparelhos...voadores...

Quetzalcoatl Aeromexico edition is a very famous plane in México at 16:20
Je préférerais Dc10 Aeromexico
Awesome video! How do you have your camera so steady, other than a tripod I am guessing.

I hope you can visit Cancun as well!
I couldn’t find any good spots when researching, although after talking to some local spotters I believe there’s some areas that may work in the future for some videos!
Hi Man, could you also put the date of when it was recorded in the description? It will help a lot with out curiosity as avgeeks! And Awesome captures btw ❤️
En varias ocasiones me vi confundido si era Flight Sim o video real
Latam avianca vva aerobus
When Bogotá?
2 weeks time, stay tuned!
First time I don't see comments about "why are you pixelating Volaris' logo?
Uggh… Volaris… La peor aerolinea! Horrible incompetent flight attendants!
When will you go to Bogotá? BOG
Stay turned video coming in a couple of weeks!
Why did the Mexican Federal Police 727 have winglets?
Those 727 have a very interesting history and have gona through a lot of renovations. Some of them were originally acquiered from factory for the Mexican Air Force, and others adopted from the now defunt airline Mexicana legacy. After all of the 727 were retired from the air force some were implemented to the Mexican Federal Police, which converted to the National Guard after the latest administration. Probably just part of one of many modifications made to keep them operational and efficient.
@@AxolotlAndy thanks fr the information. It's interesting that the National Guard were able to modify them to their requirements. But winglets are designed to reduce induced drag and help in fuel savings in long haul flights. I don't know how they would be of use in a 727 that operates short haul flights.
their aircraft graveyard is still quite full

Volaris… lo mas peor aerolina!
volaris y viva aerobus son chafisimas
@@RataCall3jera pues he volado muchas veces con ellos y nunca he tenido problemas...
Day 69 of begging for Yangon international airport
O gave you a thumbs down for using the 787 Nightmare Liner as your cover. What a piece of crap.
Imagine being this petty in life
@@aviation_belizeshe’s an Average Boeing Hater. In Mexico, even the 737 MAX operates without issue.
Go to the new airport AIFA. This one is old & ugly.
