  • As part of the President's Lecture Series at Humber College, Dr. Kwame McKenzie, Medical Director at CAMH, discusses the importance of mental capital--cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence - for robust economic development. The lecture, called 'It's not just what you do, but the way that you do it: a new paradigm in public mental health,' focuses on how changing the way interventions are chosen and designed may improve community health by increasing mental capital, encouraging active citizenship, and promoting equity.

I am so grateful for you doctor. I have been listening to everything you have put on RUclips. My son has been battling psychosis for 9 to 10 months, he is 16. His father, stepmother and I have been trying everything we can to help him recover. The information that you have placed here has really helped me, and hopefully, ultimately my Son. I can not thank you enough.

The Dr has contradicted himself regarding the mental health of Black Peoples living in the UK as he stipulated in other presentations. Why is this or have I misunderstood what he's said previously and now in this lecture? Has the mental health of the aforementioned improved?
