I'm glad to clarify: Yes you could. In single-track-play mode, if track 1 is recording, stomping on track 2 will simultaneously stop track 1 and start recording on track 2.
Your Vids are so informative, I have a private playlist going with tutorials for the RC 300 and have ordered one, (be here tues) and several of your tutorials are on it. By the way clayhorsemusic has some really informative tutorials for the RC 300 as well, including some glitches and work-arounds. Thanks cdg2g for posting these videos. I've thumbs upped and commented.
If you want tracks to be independent of each other (such as different record times for each track), you have to turn off "LOOP SYNC" in each of the three track menus (press the EDIT button below the volume slider for each track). When you do this, things can get very complex with how everything interacts, such as starting/stopping different tracks, and how they work in time with the rhythm guide & TEMPO SYNC. Take your time experimenting with this feature until you understand the relationships.
You might be talking about the TRANSPOSE effect. This allows you to pitch up/down your loop and you can control it with the expression (EXP1) pedal. This effect briefly appears around 37 seconds into the video.
@Gashan1988 If I understand you correctly, this is not possible. There is only one rhythm tempo per memory patch number. Even if you turn tempo sync off for all three tracks, the rhythm will still play at it's own tempo, not the track's tempo.
I could do this with a jam man and actually had a lot of pre-recorded basic acoustic guitar for most of my songs and would jump from verse to chorus...it was so simple ! if I could do this with the RC 300 that would be fantastic
I guess I didn't make myself clear enough because I am a foreigner whose grammar is bad XD. It's not any of the LOOP FX effects actually. Last time I saw this happening is in a film with a beatboxer called Shlomo with his RC50. And the name of his performance is Part time drop out. The assign No. is Adow7soFkcY on RUclips. The scratch will happen at 04:38 in that film. I am very appreciate your help. Good luck to you!
I acquired one of these RC 300 little over six months ago what I would like to do being that I write my own music can I record versus on one track and choruses on another track and do what you’re doing here basically weaving in and out verse/chorus/verse/chorus .
does it only do immediate track change? is it not possible to queue, so we can press the next track before it's time, and have it change in the end of the loop automatically?
Hi. Thanks for this. Really helpful. I notice below you said that "In single-track-play mode, if track 1 is recording, stomping on track 2 will simultaneously stop track 1 and start recording on track 2." I'm trying to use this feature and it works the first time I do it; i.e. I record the verse on track one and the chorus on track two, but then when I switch back to track one again it is in play mode rather than record mode so I can't add another layer. Is there another way around this? Thanks
Sorry for saying that dude, I can do the smae effect if my foot is big enough to tread the STOP and PLAY buttom in the same time. But it's still useful for people with miniature size of foot XD By the way, do you know the way to make each track in different time?

At end of loop if u choose
Finally this would work with intro verses n chorus plan

Thank you... I was using two feet and timing to accomplish this.... Awesome my performances will get better.

Thanks for posting. Exactly what i needed to know.
Thanks for the vid. Great feature of this unit and just what i'm looking for.

Yes
Hi, thank you! Can you actually save that option for one song only?
does it only do immediate track change? is it not possible to queue, so we can press the next track before it's time, and have it change in the end of the loop automatically?
Quite sure it does..exactly what I am needing

Gavin Chappell-Bates If hitting the track one pedal puts it in play, doesn't hitting it immediately again put it in record mode?
It does. I just wanted the ability to do it immediately. Thanks

Thank you! Very much appreciated!! :D
You CAN alter the track change behavior. I have a video explaining how! Look on my channel for a video titled Track Change/Loop End.
1) Yes! :)
2) No :(
