It seems inventec and Amtech direct both claiming their product is the genuine one. Allegedly there was lawsuit going on between them two if I am not mistaken. I think Inventec seems to have the upper hand thus the rebranding from Amtech direct. I have the inventec amtech which glows under UV light bought from apparently approved inventec distributor from UK. It performs very well I must admit. There seem to be bias opinions from fans including me claiming and attributing the genuine Amtech to the mentioned manufacturers. As a matter of facts due to so many fakes out there even if we have the genuine stuff we will always have doubts, as I found sometimes the cheap amtech flux works as well as the expensive ones. Even the kingbo flux varies so much in performance and sometimes from the same sellers they performed differently. Some easy to clean and some is like cleaning oil or petroleum jelly off the boards. Thank you for the review. The claim of which is genuine goes on.
So amtechdirect & stirri are the same people. The company rebranded to stirri to drop the "559" because there were many people counterfeiting amtech flux. So both bottles that you have that are amtech & stirri that are V3, the sweet smelling flux, are the same people I can confirm. The issue was that stirri used to be partnered with inventec, but there were issues with making the original v2 that led to disputes as well as contract issues. So they split up. Once that happened, inventec started making a different V2, which was ASM formula, trying to pass off as V2. I know because I've spoken with both companies to confirm the stories as well as have bottlesof fluxes from both inventecon hand & stirri. The original inventec amtech flux comes from deep river CT. If you check your bottles like how Bruce mentioned in his videos, it would say inventecusa. That green bottle of amtech you got is definitely a Chinese counterfeit. Stirri fluxes are the ones you should be buying as they are the legitimate source abd continueto provide the original V2 formula that everyone loves now know as Stirri V2.
I hope that helps clear up any confusion.

Yes so I gather, however, I think the V3 flux is actually better than the V2 stuff so I am happy to stick with the Stirry V3 flux ...
@Tech-Relief yes the V3 is better. It's also the newest formula just recently made within the last few years
