In the last couple months, tons of folks have been asking for something to help with all the anxiety they're feeling about their exams, so they can study more effectively and get a higher mark.
So, I put my whole video queue on hold to bring you this!
This body scan exercise is short and simple but highly-effective for helping your mind relax, getting oxygen deep into your body and dissolving those anxious feelings.
It's directed towards studying, but can easily be applied to any situation you might be feeling anxious about -- job interview, first date, tight deadlines, etc.
It's totally not religious in any way -- it certainly won't violate the beliefs of any religion you might be practicing.
After the exercise, head over to the 90-minute binaural beat track! • [v1] 90 Minutes of Foc...
"Can I keep this on my phone?"

I came here for completely unrelated (and irrelevant) reasons to what you might expect.
I've never felt so relaxed before, and that's really saying something. I live life almost as though I have no problems and I'm always a very calm and relaxed person.
Right at the end there where the "ding" sound gently but suddenly grabs your attention, I felt like I was about to float into the air for a sec, kinda crazy.
Definitely going to try this more often.

If explained scientifically, it takes the focus from your brain that is focusing on tense thoughts and gives it something light to focus to. Its not placebo its helping calm you down. If you are not experiencing amazong results its because you already are calm. Try doing this after a stressful day and you will be like "Woah, that just made me ascend to the sky!" I tried this after my stressful study session and i persuaded my tutor to do this as well because he was super exhaysted after working for many many stressful hours. Instead of giving me 2 hours, he managed 3 hours and left only because it got too late. Im sick rn and have a headache so i tried this but it is not giving me super good results as my sickness numbs my thinking power making me already calm and collected. My headache is still there albeit a little decreased in impact. Just give it another go after some stress lol to regain calmness and continue working!

Just one legitimate question: why not call it meditation? As someone who has practiced non-religious guided meditation, this was pretty much a session of guided Mindfulness Meditation :o I know the word still has some religious or spiritual connotations, but I thought scientific research have shown to the general public the very real benefits to mental health this activity can provide to people who practice it, even if it's not in a strictly disciplined or spiritual way 🤔
