I cook, clean, my dining table is decorated. My husband and I eat dinner at the table as a family unit. When our kids visit, it’s the same. There is no who eats 1st because we all sit at the table, bless the food and then eat. I don’t care if it’s just McDonald’s neither.
When my son comes to the house to do his laundry, I still do it and fold his clothes. We make sure he has groceries, toilet tissue and paper towels. He’s looking at buying a house and we already discussed me cleaning and decorating it.
I did my daughter’s 1st apartment. I drove 10 hours in my SUV. I got the furniture and all. My grandson didn’t need a baby shower because we got him everything from stroller and so forth. She had already gotten a crib. When I got there, I took her friend and her on base to grocery shop at the Commissary. My friends aren’t as family oriented as my family is. I speak to my cousins almost every day. My husband doesn’t understand it. I speak to my father in-law all the time. I like this podcast but i feel like im watching college kids get to know each other in the dorms. Fellas i want to see clarity realized by men and women about the toxic mindsets. Lets even try getting caucasian folks on here to learn their perspectives as well. Interview those in successful relationships and marriages while having the younger folks like these women that have distorted ideas to correct these false perspectives.
