7:40 As a woman who has had an abortion I appreciate this so much from you. I’ve been a long time watcher and I have learned so much from you, but this really touched my heart. It’s been a years long journey for me to enter the Catholic Church, and I am still in process of full conversion. I am a former neopagan and I had an abortion, and Jesus still loves me. Mother Mary still prays with and for me. It was her who held my heart long enough for me to finally start healing enough to know I needed Jesus. I spend a lot of my time online trying to support pro life work, as I feel convicted it is part of my journey I must fulfill and offer as penance. God is merciful absolutely.
As someone who was raised secular but is converting to Catholicism these were shocking but in an enlightening positive way that enabled me to change my life for the better through Christ.

@@tmaffeo congratulations 😊 I would for sure recommend reading through the Catechism. We are going through that in my OCIA and it’s very helpful. I love your videos so much Heather.. I had an abortion when I was a young girl.. I was raised in a household that wasn’t religious but have always been drawn to the Catholic faith.. I was married (not in a church) but when my sons were born, I wanted better for them so they were both baptised and confirmed in the Catholic faith.. we went to lessons when my last son was preparing for him confirmation and the priest told three story of the good shepherd and it gave me hope that perhaps there was hope for me. So I made an appointment to see the priest and I told him that I had had an abortion and I felt that all was lost as far as my soul was concerned.. he was so wonderful.. he did confession straight away.. I was crying so hard I could barely say any of the words but he lovingly guided me through it.. I have to say that my life changed that day.. I participated in the RCIA program and am not a catholic.. my next move is to get my marriage blessed within the church.. so thank you so much for making this video Heather..
You did a great job explaining the truths of the Faith. Being Catholic is not easy, and living in today’s culture makes it even more difficult to be a faithful Catholic. Be strong!
Remember parents are the primary teachers of our faith. Unfortunately many are not up on all the teaching. Thanks for this podcast and great DEE'S. Let's always continue to learn about our beautiful faith and follow "the Son"!
Hi Heather, I had a miscarriage on October 9. I would love some prayers. We did name our baby, Harriet. I have watched your videos about miscarriages and they have been so helpful. Thank you.
As a 67 year old mother of three and grandmother of 6, I am unapologetically Catholic. Our priests have fallen to the world and are responsible for our young ones not understanding the faith. Thank you, Heather. Just tell the truth and let Gid manage the rest.
Heather, while I am not a Catholic, I am a born-again Christian and I totally agree with everything that you said. We all have done things that are sinful because we are human, and we will continue to even though we try so hard not to. God is merciful and so loving. He sent his son to die for us so that we can live! And he didn't leave us. He's with us always to help us and to sustain us in the faith. Praise God now and forevermore! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for this, dear friend!!! I will say with the first one - in 1981, I was an 18 year old Catholic who had never had a high school boyfriend and especially with everything in the culture around me, I felt like I was in some type of deprivation. The bad choices I made then (a) continue to impact my life today, and I'm 61 (b) certainly impacted my life in my twenties! (c) affected the next generations. And I was an active Catholic, including teen fellowship, but nothing like this was taught - in fact, I wasn't the only unmarried pregnant girl. SO MANY WOES COULD BE AVOIDED IF WE JUST HAD PRIESTS GET UP IN THE PULPIT AND NOT GIVE US THEOLOGY, NOT GIVE US CHICKEN SOUP, BUT POWERFUL, REFERENCED TEACHINGS LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!!
You had the misfortune of growing up and being formed in the Church of the 1970s. I'm 34, and still a virgin, but you know what? Maybe I wouldn't be if I hadn't grown up in the JPII era. Love and blessings to you
Absolutely and Amen!! I’m 60 and attended Catholic school from kindergarten to 12th grade. Premarital sex was known not to do but no one ever talked about WHY! I think it would’ve helped if we knew the heartache and ramifications of it. I also was surrounded during high school and college that women needed a career and their own money because if you did get married, you’d also probably get divorced! These were teachings from Catholic women!
Amen sister. It's such a blessing that you kept the faith strong and with God working through your life to stay on the right path. Many blessings to you and your family. Bless be Jesus!!
It is so unfortunate that the most basic fundamentals of being Catholic are controversial. Thank you, especially as a woman in today's world, for sharing the truth. These rules are not to restrict us they are to set us free! We have all sinned but in order to heal we must repent and God is always waiting for us to turn around and follow him!
I remember when Connie Sellecca and John Tesh were dating and they talked about how they were waiting until their wedding night to sleep together. I thought they were so brave for speaking about their convictions in public. And how beautiful that their faith in Jesus was.
Hi Heather, I stumbled upon you by accident, I had major spine surgery and want to walk again. Everything you say is so true and I wish I would of had a different life, I'm 72 y old and never got married. I wanted to but it never happened. I was not a active catholic but started to come back in 2010. I now believe everything of the catholic faith. I try to listen to one of your videos everyday. I wish I would of been more catholic when I started in high school, my life would of been very different which I am so sad about now. I admire you so much and am amazed you can do so much in a day. Truly amazing. Linda
Absolutely without exception you are completely correct in all the points you have spoken about. This is the biblical version of how to live your life as ordained by God.
Our GOD is an awesome GOD and GOD bless you for your courage. I am catholic too and I too see the beauty of being Catholic and the peace that comes from serving GOD. Stay blessed
There is no one that shares the catholic faith better than yourself, Heather. I feel the empathy flowing from your ❤️ and know that you are 100% sincere in your convictions. You deserve a big hug for your commitment and compassion.
Thank you so much Heather for your courage in putting out the true message of what Catholics believe. You are very articulate and the Holy Spirit is inspiring you.We are so blessed to have you sharing this great content.May God Bless you.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am Catholic and had an abortion. I am not proud of it & honestly didn't think much of it for many years, until recently. I also have not been practicing the faith for many years. I cannot put my finger on exactly what happened, but I recently have been thinking a lot about contacting a priest & returning to the church. I have also been thinking about what I did and I am so ashamed. I feel that I am not good enough to be accepted back into the faith. I know that God is merciful and I am hopeful that I will be forgiven, but for whatever reason, I can't bring myself to talk to the priest. I have been praying at home daily. I've even learned how to say the Rosary for the first time in my life. I have been asking the Virgin Mary to help me to get the courage to go. I hope that she hears me and gives me the push that I need to just bite the bullet & do it. I watch Father Mike Schmitz, Father Dan Rehill, & Father Carlos Martins every day, for many hours. I'm looking for direction and spiritual guidance. They are all extremely motivational, but here I sit. Sundays come & go & for every one that does I feel worse and worse. I'm honestly not sure why I'm pouring out my soul to you. I guess I just needed to put it out there. I've been hiding it for a lot of years. Anyway, thanks for doing what you do, for people like me. I do appreciate it. God Bless.
The priest will just be happy that you’re repentant and that you want to know, love, and serve God now. There’s a Catholic speaker/writer named Patricia Sandoval, I think. She had multiple abortions, became a drug user, worked in an abortion clinic but she managed to go back to the church and is inspirational to many Catholics now.
As they say, “Just do it.” Don’t wait till you’re “ready.” Mary and Joseph have your back. What a GREAT Thanksgiving and Christmas you will have!! You go girl! 👍📿😁❤️🙏✝️
You're helping others with what you write. We all have sinned in one way or other, and we still do, but God sees our efforts to do better. He is the one who can help us when we struggle. He wants us to repent and He does heals us, like the most loving Father. Just be like a child and pour out your heart to Him. Find a Holy Priest, go to confession and have trust. God bless you.
I believe God is calling you back into the faith. He loves you so much. You are his precious daughter. You are doing so good by praying. We are praying for you as well. 🙏🏼
I'm a 34 yo woman and a virgin. It is definitely possible to do. It is also definitely possible that I will never get married, and that I'll die a virgin . And I am totally okay with that
Read Luke 20:34-35 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-53 Once you go to heaven you will loose your husband and children. In heaven there's no such thing as a bloodline. So don't be concerned about temporary things
Luke 21:28-33. The second coming of Jesus is around the corner and once the second coming of Jesus occurs every one will loose their spouse and children. One would think why would God allow this to happen but that's what the bible says
Amen to this video. When others get offended at the truth it's because they want to live in the darkness. I too am unapologetically Catholic and believe everything our Mother church teaches 🙏
Catholicism has had trouble teaching the people asking to be taught for quite a while. I went to all the CCD (now called Faith Formation) in the 70s and 80s, did all the appropriate sacraments and even went to 2 years of Catholic high school, but there is so much I wasn’t taught. I am learning now thanks to some great RUclips channels like yours.
Thank you for your boldness and fearlessness! I know that it’s not easy to talk about these things on a public forum. There will be so much negative feedback I’m sure. But we are called to speak the truth. God bless you! 🙏
I went to confession today after watching your video. I had relationships with a couple of women a long time ago. I was embarrassed about confessing those sins but realized I had to so I could make it right with Jesus. Keep up the good work.
The truth hurts, people who will give you grief for this video don’t want to accept these teachings which are from God; our Church is passing them down as instructed by Jesus himself. Thank you for making this video - “Joan Up!” is my motto ❤️
Weird. RUclips will not allow me to make a direct comment, it only allows me to comment on the comments already there!!!! This is a form of censorship because they don't like the content. I support everything this heroine has said.
I learned so much by listening to the Catechism in a Year in 2023…..things I didn’t remember from my school years or things I didn’t understand. You spoke these truths out of love and kindness. 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼
As a 60 year old cradle Catholic I’m well aware of these issues. Thank you so much for putting this out there as a reminder. One thing I’d really like to add about pro-life is that since IVF is essentially “pro-life” it is NOT allowed in the Catholic Church!!! My husband and I suffered from infertility and as devout Catholics we did not use IVF. Unfortunately, Catholics are always protesting abortion but not IVF. There are millions of souls frozen waiting for the mothers to finally decide when to have them inserted and give birth. Most are discarded. Most Catholics think IVF is pro-life and use it. They are wrong.
💯💯 Well said Heather!❤ May your courage and conviction save many and re-direct those whom the devil is cunningly misleading back onto the path that brings them the greatest hope, joy and safety not just temporal but eternal 💙🙏💙✝️✝️✝️💛❤️💛
Beautiful comment. We need to live in God's truth.Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.Whoever follows him will not wander in darknes , but will have the light of life. God bless you !
Well done, Heather. I have been shocked by Catholic "church ladies" who tell young people in the parish that it is okay for them to move in with a boyfriend or fiancé. So very sad.
Hi Heather, thanks for another important video, well done! I feel the same sorry for women who had abortion. I was crying while watching the part you were talking about it. Abortion is not ok. Hugs for all who were forced or put under pressure to do it, ask God for forgiveness and undertake penance.❤
I SO agree on what you have said, and now being the day after the election, I am happy with the results. I am a Christian❤ The sanctity of life is so important. If we dont stand up for the unborn, who will?
You are such a beautiful, Godly woman. You are the kind of woman that every honorable man really wants. All you say here is the absolute TRUTH. I know from the sad experience that having sex before marriage will have dire consequences. God bless you and your family, dear Lady, for telling the truth.
Well done on this video Heather! You speak the truth in love and with beautiful conviction. It's hard to believe that some people today don't know that sex before marriage is sinful. In the past everyone had heard of it but not everyone believed it. I think you're right...now people don't even know that people out there exist who don't believe in sex before marriage! I work in a Catholic shop and people come in to buy crucifixes for their walls (for example) and they say they have just moved in with their partner etc I'm always in shock but perhaps they just don't know! I need to gently tell them.
Someone that believes in sex outside of marriage, same sex marriage and abortion cannot be catholic nor protestant. This video is not for catholics nor protestants. This video is for atheists. But atheists are never going to change their mind
Heather, Bless you for your RUclips's. (surprised they don't ban you) You are a Beacon of Light for Truth, Compassion and Christ's Glory. You touch a lot of peoples lives. You helped me embrace my faith. In my 20's I met Catholics who properly embraced the faith and lived it. Them, and yourself, show what the faith is about and makes me want to seek it out. (there are others) Keep doing these beautiful works. BTW these shouldn't even be controversial, they are a fountain. Satan is getting main stream. God Bless everyone.
Thanks for all your beautiful videos. Thanks to god and mother Mary have brought me out of my wrong path. Our lord is so merciful indeed. I love our catholic faith. Thanks to god for sacrament of reconciliation. Keep speaking the truth about our catholic faith. ❤

Heather, the genuineness (is that a word) in your words and eyes is wonderful. Catholic to the core. XO
Thank you for being brave in sharing these things about our Catholic faith. God bless you and your family.
Love you, Heather. This was perfect! You have a gift for expressing the faith beautifully.
You did a really good job on this one Heather, thank you for telling the truth.
Thank you for speaking truth and helping other souls.
I appreciate you !
Thank you for your boldness and fearlessness! I know that it’s not easy to talk about these things on a public forum. There will be so much negative feedback I’m sure. But we are called to speak the truth. God bless you! 🙏
Excellent job! Never be ashamed to stand up for our gorgeous Faith!
I went to confession today after watching your video. I had relationships with a couple of women a long time ago. I was embarrassed about confessing those sins but realized I had to so I could make it right with Jesus. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for this important video. Lliving right is comforting. Not easy but joyous.
We are in OCIA now. It has been an amazing journey! Thank you for normalizing and evangelizing for the Catholic faith. You are truly a gift.❤️
A much needed video especially for the young generations. A true Catholic agrees with all you said. God bless you always
The truth hurts, people who will give you grief for this video don’t want to accept these teachings which are from God; our Church is passing them down as instructed by Jesus himself. Thank you for making this video - “Joan Up!” is my motto ❤️
Thank you for speaking out🥰
Weird. RUclips will not allow me to make a direct comment, it only allows me to comment on the comments already there!!!! This is a form of censorship because they don't like the content. I support everything this heroine has said.
May God bless you abundantly for this much needed explanation of the truths of the Catholic faith.
I learned so much by listening to the Catechism in a Year in 2023…..things I didn’t remember from my school years or things I didn’t understand. You spoke these truths out of love and kindness. 🙏🏼✝️🙏🏼
Thank you. We all need this!
Amen!!! Continue to pray then scream it from the mountain tops! Thank you
As a 60 year old cradle Catholic I’m well aware of these issues.
Thank you for this video, Heather. May God bless you and your family always!
I agree with you, thank you for your candor!
💯💯
Well said Heather!❤ May your courage and conviction save many and re-direct those whom the devil is cunningly misleading back onto the path that brings them the greatest hope, joy and safety not just temporal but eternal 💙🙏💙✝️✝️✝️💛❤️💛
True catholics love you Heather. ❤ You know who is the enemy who hate your teaching. You doing excellent job for God.🙏🙏
Amen. Love it. Keep speaking Truth.
Beautiful comment. We need to live in God's truth.Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.Whoever follows him will not wander in darknes , but will have the light of life. God bless you !
God bless you and your family !
As a Convert to the Catholic faith over 38 years ago I admire your truth and courage! I believe in everything you said in this video!
Well done, Heather. I have been shocked by Catholic "church ladies" who tell young people in the parish that it is okay for them to move in with a boyfriend or fiancé. So very sad.
❤ God bless you and your family, Heather.
God bless you ❤thx for this video . Absolutely pro life !!!
Hi Heather , 5 th Commandment : you shall not Kill … God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Jesus I TRUST IN YOU
"God doesn't grade on a curve." Such a good point - Amen!
I am a Christian❤
The sanctity of life is so important. If we dont stand up for the unborn, who will?
Thank you for speaking God's truths with such love. You are courageous and kind.❤
You are such a beautiful, Godly woman. You are the kind of woman that every honorable man really wants. All you say here is the absolute TRUTH. I know from the sad experience that having sex before marriage will have dire consequences. God bless you and your family, dear Lady, for telling the truth.
Thank you for speaking Truth with so much Love!
The Holy Spirit really speaks through you praise be Jesus Christ
Bless you for speaking about these issues from a Catholic perspective, such important issues and focus on love and God’s mercy. Thank you ❤
Thank you for your courage and great love for God and His children 🙏🤍🙏
God bless you for this video , thankyou
Amen, Heather, you keep spouting our faith we are behind you 100%. God Bless You!
Thank you for this. I do not know how anyone could hate you.
Living in truth is happiness, living in deception is a nightmare.
I work in a Catholic shop and people come in to buy crucifixes for their walls (for example) and they say they have just moved in with their partner etc
I'm always in shock but perhaps they just don't know! I need to gently tell them.
These are great topics to teach children as age appropriate when done. Knowing is better than regretting for not having been informed.
Thank you for sharing the faith!!
Sometimes I don’t understand how Catholics don’t know simple trues. Thank you for spreading the true.
Because some of them are church/ building/ goers catholics. They don't have love for Jesus and Sacraments He left.
Someone that believes in sex outside of marriage, same sex marriage and abortion cannot be catholic nor protestant. This video is not for catholics nor protestants. This video is for atheists. But atheists are never going to change their mind
Thank you so much!❤
Thanks Heather for doing this video, so many catholic don't know the truth behind what we believe! God bless you and family! Jesus is great!
Lovingly explaining the truth this was great.
Amen to all of this! Your sharing at the end was so lovely and true!
Thanks Heather for the very edifying video❤
Fantastic video.. Keep em' coming, from BC Canada:)
