- So you want to upgrade to Windows 11 but can't get Secure Boot to work, well you might be in Legacy Mode vice UEFI so let's convert to UEFI and then enable Secure Boot so you can be Windows 11 ready. Enjoy!

I have googled and searched how to enable TMP mode on my motherboard. I saw every video but had no luck. I was missing this exact step of converting the drive to GPT!!! This was a great video and I wish I would have found it first. Subscribed now! Thank you!!!

I got my PC July 2022 and have been trying to update to windows since then. Amazing video. absolute life saver. I have tried everything and this is the only thing that works. If its ok i might try to repost this video either on RUclips or Reddit but link your channel because loads of people have this problem. Also your tutorials are super easy to follow and are really clear!! P.S. Nice forum style with answering and helping all questions and comments. I'm honestly surprised you don't have a bigger following.

very good video. i messed up the installation of windows 10 and it wouldn’t boot if not in legacy mode. it’s not to prepare for windows 11 but for a better protection of the OS against boot sector virus. The mbr2gpt was the savior here. I’m a computer engineer but more savvy with Linux/CentOS. So my partitions are always GPT. thanks. Now my wife’s desktop on windows 10 is safer and ready for windows 11 if the ever ask for it.🎉

Absolute legend I tried this for 6 hours with random shitty videos that didn’t work, paniced reset my pc to see if that helped. Got grumpy then found your video and it worked great. Wish I found it earlier

So I my drive with windows 10. Corrupted a d will not load. Put in a brand new m.2 and get the incompatible type as GPT and I cannot get in windows to fix it...
What do I do. Even old drives say the same thing. I'm stuck is my pc toast??
Your PC is good, but there could be something in the BIOS affecting it. You could go into your BIOS and reset to default values then try afterwards. Also you can use Disk Management on the M.2 if needed to set it to the correct disk type. Make sure if you use your Windows 10 disk that you backup things first.

Yeah I'm going to install it on my Test System but not otherwise as there are still many issue's with it. You Stay well also John.
You have the best explanation on how to fix this problem. Also, if you have multiple drivers, make sure they are all converted. I use the EaseUS partition master pro to fix all my drives without any problem.
You should only need to do this for your Boot Drive, but good to know it can be used otherwise. Thanks

Yes, I was trying to convert from MBR to GPT only running CMD as administrator but in my current user session, and it failed in all the tries, but, following your steps, accessing the CMD in this "troubleshooting mode", it worked! Thanks, dude, I really do appreciate your help 😉
