Thanks for the update! I've been wondering about the megapixels. Not being an action shooter this camera doesn't interest me except for the possibility of a higher maximum flash sync speed. This is by far the most important spec for me as a shooter of outdoor portraits, fitness, glamour, and fashion where I need to beat the sun in order to control the light without using funky HSS. I doubt if it will approach the 1/2000 sec that the Hasselblad and Phase I cameras achieve with their leaf shutter lenses, but you never know until the announcement and most people don't care so it might not even be part of the announcement.
My understanding with the GH5 Mark II, Is that the biggest change is they gave it a processor upgrade so that they could continue upgrading the firmware because they had pretty much reached the power limit that the current processor had, and it’s still a very viable camera so they probably still want to sell them for those who don’t want to pay 2500 for the GH6. Also they added much better face detection and tracking capabilities and I think from the reviews I’ve seen they’ve actually said it’s better than the S5.
Big question is?? What is the readout speed of the sensor? If it's not A9 or A1 fast this camera won't be as good as the R5 IMO. Also, does it have a 20fps mechanical shutter mode like the 1dxm3? If so many people will love this camera.

Canon kidding to their fans....
P.S. - I imagined R3 specs like this - 100MP-14-16 bit - 20-30fps(in different resolutions), 8K -24-25-30-50-60fps RAW, 4K - 120-240fps -RAW, FULL HD - 300fps - price 5500-6000$. but they did that always they do. They are always kidding to all the world photographers and videographers, this is really CRAP, no camera.
you are too bright Simon
Thanks. My wife thinks I'm smart too!
