    My analysis of the Jags as the fan of this team, the pieces and answers are there on offense. There are things they are trying fundamentally that have worked when presented against opposing defenses. Just these two dudes, Doug Pedersen and Press Taylor refuse to ever build off ANYTHING. That what you to mention on situational play calling, but even situational fundamentals like personnel they cant even take advantage whether it be the redzone or 4th down in their own territory. The nuances of this staff is non-existent in the highest, toughest stretches of these games and its a must to have to clinch these games and make it further.

    As a Patriots fan, it doesn't really bother me that we're not good. We had 20 years of domination. Multiple Super Bowl wins, going to a SB practically every other year, being in the AFC championship game more than a dozen times and winning a good majority of them, being the AFC East champion almost every year except for a handful of times and hardly missing the playoffs. We had an amazing run. So I'm not upset. A bit disappointed? Yes, a little. I would be happy if they did better but it is what it is. I'm ok with being at the bottom for a little while. Have other teams enjoy a bit of success and glory.

    The problem Howell had in Washington was that he really wasn't getting much help for his point in his development. They threw a ridiculous amount, which put a lot on his plate, and the defense was just plain awful. He just didn't have the time to develop enough to overcome the bad situation he was in. For all the talent Levis has, I certainly saw some of this in his college tape, which is why I questioned if he could be a franchise QB. The NFL seems to have some of the same questions.

    Can yall do a video on the saints, in particular the catastrophic management of Mickey Loomis? He and DA have taken us straight to hell with no ladder to climb out with. I know there are some teams like the browns and panthers with worse situations, but I think our situation is quietly down there with them, and unique in a few different ways.

    • @t4d0W
      @t4d0W 2 месяца назад

      I mean it starts with the same thing that Saints fans and Loomis himself don't want to admit exists: The NFL salary cap. Also hard to re-tool and rebuild when Saints GM/execs just choose to kick the can down with getting high priced mediocre talent with the hopes of being a 8-10 win team to win the NFC South and make the playoffs *WHILE* whiffing on the draft for years.

    • @patrickgraves2332
      @patrickgraves2332 2 месяца назад

      @@t4d0W you’re right about Loomis but saints fans are coming around. The relative success at the end of the Brees era blinded many of us to the horrific cap management behind the scenes. But the lack of team success and lack of a future have made many of us start to realize how broken the management style has been all these years. I mean even when Brees was in his prime throwing for 5k yards and 40+ TDs, we were going 7-9 because of how awful the roster was constructed. The reckoning for Loomis is coming and we need to amp up the pressure to get him out.

    The Dolphins are in the same boat as Dallas. They struggled to beat the Jags with Tua. Some people believe everything will be OK when Tua comes back but I’m not one of them. I think they’ll be avg. with a big cap # and a bunch of injury-prone and older players. And a worse OL than Dallas.

    Record be damned, the Raiders have looked about as bad as any of these teams.

    It's beyond deflating seeing everything be wrong with the Jaguars and know full well Khan won't address the full scope of it.
    If you think Baalke is going to be fired, you must not be paying attention to Khan's tendencies.

    Shane Steichen loves Josh Downs. He's only in his 2nd year and balling when healthy. He's not going anywhere

    Dallas got a call, a wake up call. If they dont answer it's all on the "GM". Detroit was trolling them like a really good barn mouser playing with it's food. That is NOT indicative of a team going places.

      TWO offensive tackles didn't get touchdowns, and I am *still* furious.
      Although they *did* prevent a Dallas touchdown, so, still pretty pogged out as we say.

    Gentlemen, thank you for analyzing the Jaguars. I’m more sane having heard level-headed experts explain why Jax is so hard to watch. Your outlook is accurate based on some of the stupid contracts Baalke gave out. And FYI, nobody in Jacksonville liked Baalke and we all wanted him gone after Urban Meyer. The guy can’t build a team. His draft process, if you can call it that, is so unbelievably flawed it borders on fraudulent.

    Kinda does suck that Bryce is already boomed by the time the Panthers addressed these issues. They did it all in one offseason too. Should've thought of it before drafting their QB i guess

    What strikes me about this list is the Bears have beaten 4 of these teams and face the Pats in 3 weeks. These teams didn't look this bad 3 months ago.....

    Can I interest you in a Sam Howell to Carolina trade? Contract year so maybe trade a 6th to Seattle? Similar skillset to baker pre-canales, the gunslinger that turns it over a little too much

    The patriots are 2 or 3 offseasons away from contention. Houston had some pieces and have done well drafting. The rams and the 49ers do extremely well drafting down the board. They find so many all pro players in the 3rd-5th rounds

    I’m no longer a Dallas fan if they trade Parsons when they were supposed to be seeing this in a contract yr for Dak and Lamb. Those two wanted all the money and took it. They have to play like they are worth it but can’t. This year was supposed to prove that they aren’t Mahones, Reed and Kelce so they need more help and less of the pies financially.

    IMO for New England, they can be competent by progressively fixing their OL and pass rush

    Now that you mention it, i hope they trade micah lol. If they do , there is a 70% chance that he will go to philly in free agency after his contract is up with the new team. I really think he may play for us one day. Hes a penn state kid after all.

    Agree on Carolina needing to endure at QB for another year. Go defense all the way this year in the draft and free agency. EDGE, then iDL, then LBs, Safety, Corner in terms of priority.

    So your analysis of the Cowboys issues is mostly defensive line issues. Yet you suggest trading away their best defensive player who is on the DL. Great logic
