Funnily enough, between takes, the late Bill Paxton (Hudson) had frequently apologized to Carrie Henn (Newt) for his constant swearing in front of her. She always forgave, mostly because she didn't know what they meant. The F-word and its derivatives are used 25 times in this film _Eighteen_ of those come from Hudson alone.
This was by far the best sequel to any movie ever made, This is how you write a strong female character in the movies, Sigourney/Ripley didn't want to be in the situation she was in and when it all want to crap she did what she had to do to kick butt and get out of the situation she was in, no need for crying or needing anybody she just Chewed bubble gum and kicked ass, and she was all out of bubble gum, reference to another movie LOL. the Special edition is the best as it helps you understand the relationship between Newt and Ripley a little better. couple fun facts. Jim Cameron had a picture of Sigourney on his desk as he wrote the screenplay, he dubbed it the battle of the mothers. Also Jim hated it when you called the movie Alien 2 it was Aliens the crew leaned quickly to call it Aliens and not Alien 2 Bill Paxton was the only actor to be killed by a Predator, a Terminator, and a Alien in the movies.
The girl that played Newt purposely tried to mess up the shot of her going down the air duct because she liked to slide down it and wanted to keep doing it because it was so fun. The Scene where Bishop does the knife with Hudson, the part where Drake puts his hand under Bishop's hand was just a spur of the moment thing the guy that played Drake came up with, so when the surprised look on Bill's face came up he was because he didn't know about it before hand. James Remar the bad guy form 48 hours, was first selected to play Hicks, but after filming started he got busted for drugs and put in Jail, so he was fired right away, Jim called up Michael Biehn and said hop on a plane your doing Hicks, because he new what Michael Bien could do because of the Terminator, the scene where they cut to the whole crew entering the Alien hive James was in that scene and they ripped apart the set after the shot was approved, so Jim just cut to where you see Hicks back so they didn't have to try and redo the scene.
That's perfect. Hahahahaha. His character was a giant dick! I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I'm gonna share that with friends and family. Haha👍👍😆😆
hudson has the best redemption and last stand ever! and vasquez is a total badass!! afaik shes the only human to get into melee range with a xeno and live apart from ripley with the powerloader
7:52 - Burke sounds & dressed like a typical LA Hollywood producer... His character is actually a parody on such a mid-80's person. Cameron must have had a personal grudge with one...
Yeah, probably won't watch the one with Ron pearlman or the one with wynona Ryder or where Ripley becomes an android. But the prequel we heard about might get a watch.
"Aliens": Also known as "Ripley and the Soldiers." Third Officer Ripley has been found and taken to Gateway sysyion with a Xenomorph-size case of PTSD. I see you're watching the Special Edition version, which has added content/drama, and answered a question I'd had in the 1986 theatrical version.
BTW...if you noticed a lot of things that do not seem right from a military point of view...and it seemed like you did...you are not alone. James Cameron does not portray the military well...he either does not understand military matters, or he deliberately uses them as one of the "bad guys" in his films.
Oh, excuse me while I miss all my sleep at night. Since the pun went over your head, it's a play on my name, but by all means go watch some elses stuff.

Fantastic information! So interesting to learn this kind of stuff about movies. Love the Paxton apologizing stuff. RIP to a great actor.
The Hacksmith built there own version of the Powerloader(the yellow mechsuit) earlier this year.
Paul Reiser took his mother to the premier of Aliens. When Paul's character 'Burke' was killed by the alien, his own mother cheered.

24:30 At that exact moment, Ripley was ready to jump Hicks in front of everyone. First person ever to listen to her. And also back her up.
Maybe still the most exciting movie ever, or really close? I remember seeing it in the theater when it was new and feeling too wired to sleep after!

14:42- A year or two ago the Pentagon asked contractors to develop similar device.
Another wicked reaction!!
Great movie

What question was that?
Btw, the Army has "soldiers," but Marines are always called Marines.

I didn't know he did that. Good to know. Thank you. I love finding things out like that. 👍
Okay, your video's are clearly only meant for Americans, so... I won't watch any of them.
