@@deepanjanbanerjee3491 junipers are relatively easy and it’s all about the timing. Other conifers such as pines and cedars I haven’t experimented with.
I'm wondering when exactly is the best time for me to do this with juniper where I live, early spring yes, but would you recommend waiting till you see new green tips on the foliage, or just early spring in general?
@@briankavanagh7191 she is doing really well growing as a semi cascade. Haven’t shown her in a while. Will have to do a walkthrough of my shimpaku collection one day.

Do conifers lend themselves to air layers well? Never tried with anything but deciduous trees.

@@DeciduousSnurb really anytime in spring is good. Early spring is the earliest I found you can start.
Great work David, lm about to do my JM but last year l did it in Oct do you now is a good time or wait til they harden off a bit?
