Nice work! You remind me of myself when I was learning bonsai when I was in college. I still have trees with me from that time. Here's hoping you stick with it like I did because it have been a very rewarding element of my life!
Wow, this is a great video..and to see it progress from the first planting you did. Thank you for your careful instructions and guidance as you moved it through the shaping. I love your videos🥢☘️✂️🌳🤗
Great looking tree sir, this is going to be a beautiful example of a cascade when it's finished. I have only been doing bonsai for a short time but the blue star is by far my favorite tree to work with. My very first bonsai was a blue star and it's still my favorite. Love the videos and the easy to follow instructions that you give. Cheers mate
I have just started to watch your videos, very informative and easy to follow and understand. I have been working with an olive tree that I have had for about 5-6 years and a working at trimming and repotted 3 times so far. It is doing well, I may have to repot to a smaller pot. Thanks for your help and advice, I will try to use other types of plants to work with.
Hi Adam very informative thank you I have just purchased a juniper like yours would it be ok to style it in the autumn then repot it in the spring keep up the good work
Nice video! Your video and communication skills are really good! You can also consider next time to do more detail wiring to all the little branches so that you get more definition in your design! Keep up the great work! Maybe we could do a collaboration some day!
As always, I enjoy your videos. Great information on styling. When you trim tips of your Juniper, do the cut areas ever turn brown? Have you or can you give us a view of your Bonsai? Thank you for sharing.
I appreciate your kind words!! 😊 When trimming Juniper tips, they can turn brown due to a few reasons: incorrect cutting technique, harsh environmental conditions, or insufficient recovery time. Ensuring sharp, clean tools and making precise cuts at an angle can help minimize browning. Providing appropriate aftercare, such as keeping the tree well-hydrated and shielded from extreme conditions, also aids in preventing browning. I post shots of my trees and updates on my Instagram ... it's @notionbonsai 🤗
Is it also a juniper ...looks like a kind of larch? I have a lot of trouble in southern hemisphere, to explain and understand northers conifers Greetings from Patagonia, chile
