Thanks for showcasing our local NorCal trails. Corral/Armstrong Conn. Is one of the more popular must do trails. U guys did great for riding blind. Hopefully u guys continued to shuttle the route versus climbing. Normally we get in 5 runs per visit. I can't believe the girl rode the vintage bike down without dropping the seatpost.
So glad you guys made it to Tahoe. There is a ton to see and do here for sure lol! Come back when you can. Even though I've lived here my whole life, there's always something new and fun to check out! Stay stoked you two!
Doing it right! 0:33 DL Bliss SP, Lester Beach and Rubicon Point, with Sugar Pine Point in the background. A WONDERFUL place! My family first started camping there in 1949 and it has been a family tradition ever since. I hiked the Rubicon Trail when I was 5 with my Teddy Bear! Can't wait to return in '21!
Corral trail is our go to up there. Northstar is a really cool bike park up there too. Then you can make your way down to Santa Cruz for sick riding there as well. Have fun guys.
That's simply mean putting the new rider on that old-school POS! (And I say that with only the most appreciation for Specialized. My wife put in a TON of Sierra miles on her '94 M2 hard tail and it's still an amazing bike. But it's appropriately retired now, the poor thing - but it's in WAY better shape than that beat-down FSR!!!) But a new rider with five rides under her belt? That is NOT the way to get someone psyched about a new sport, especially on challenging Sierra terrain! Old brakes that barely work? Check. Suspension that froze up 10 years ago? Got that too! No dropper post? Of course! OTB geometry? Yup. 26" spindly tires? Absolutely! Well at least she's wearing a full-face helmet! And kudos to her for riding that bike with a smile and good attitude!
