    That tool cart with tools would set a tech up really good. They would really only have to start adding specialty tools depending on the jobs they do.

      The gearwrench sets like that have been all over my fb feed. I was considering buying something like that for home and getting rid of all my mismatched stuff. Mac or cornwell had something like that a couple years ago for 3 something and they sold out in no time.

    Back in my construction days while I was going to auto school. Everything was the nicad batteries. Dewalt was king. I think they tried to hold on to the old ways to long and fell behind in the game and now playing catch up. Now that I’m vested in Milwaukee it’s to late for me to move back over to dewalt.

    • @aaadamt964
      @aaadamt964 2 месяца назад

      I started out with the 18v dewalt when it was the best of the best. Toward the end I bought a kit for the batteries. The drill in that kit weighed less than a third of the one that came in my original kit. I first switched to m12 because of the ratchets. I use m12, m18 for everything from body work to trimming my bushes. I almost bought a dewalt black Friday kit last year because mac occasionally has a nice deal on bare tools.

    Why is it they always have to bundle stuff I want with stuff I already have/don’t need? I’ve got the RBRT bit set with the screwdriver, but that little bit set is a good add on just like you said.

    11:30 I got that RBRT bit set like a year or so ago for $80 too. I also have the chrome socket torx RBRT set, but that is my only torx set. I've broken my t-25 and twisted my t-30 to where it nearly broke and have both been replaced.

    I can't say too much about milwaukee tools, but I have felt one of the top of the line cordless impacts. To me, it feels like it's built like a tank and has a decent ergonomic handle to it.
    But, I tend to like using DeWalt's cordless line. And I feel that my old man's DCF894 1/2 inch cordless impact is pretty good ergonomically and the performance is pretty good with a 3 amp 20v battery and even better with a 60v "flex volt" battery.

    Already had 2 of those big Dawgs dewalt impacts head out for repair already cp not sure the issue with them guys I work with bought them from the mac dealer so not sure what happened got the milwaukee been fine so far over 6months daily use I do like the milwaukee as its smaller than the dewalt but the dewalt seems good except the ones that went out for repairs I think switches but speculative conclusion on my end their for cordless ratchets sealed head matco 16v is king in my opinion 😊

      @CPthetooladdict so far my milwaukee is doing well over 6 months but ya electric is not as dependable only problem with air is the moisture in the lines where im at no drier for air intake and no drier unit out of compressor so makes it tough to use air tools but agreed cp I prefer the milwaukee over the dewalt mainly based on the size milwaukee smaller and I like the batteries on milwaukee dont rattle off after awhile of using the batteries I have both

    I'm not a foam setup person, you can't add, move or reconfigure based on your needs / the equipment your working on. The stubby ratcheting wrenches are nice, although I prefer knuckle saver over precision torque. That's just me......I do like Snap-On half moon wrenches over the MATCO style, but again that's just me. Nice review stay cool.

    Unfortunately the Mac stuff i really like is the high warranty risk stuff ie. punches/ chisels, swivel sockets and impact sockets. and I don’t have a dealer so have been bringing all that stuff home and swapping it for the Snap on. That toolbox deal could be nice problem is you have no room to grow so after spending 7000 you already kind of have to upgrade the box.

    One thing I disagree with you on this is the DeWalt dcf900 that gun beat the 2nd Gen Milwaukee but not the new 3rd gen they're selling. DeWalt beat the 3rd gen Milwaukee with the dcf961 but the biggest issue with that gun is the size of it and it kills your sockets 😂.

    I'm tired of the constant chasing of the "biggest number" by all the manufacturers. At some point, depending on what you are using impact wrenches for, enough is, well enough. It's like the latest Harley thing. The new M8 platform is so relatively easy to get big torque/hp from that guys are going bigger and bigger, chasing 150+ torque and hp. And I have to ask, why? ?Dick measuring?
