For those that don’t understand the 12.5% , explanation : let the full probability be 1 , the probably of boy and girl is 0.5 and 0.5 each. 3 kids means 0.5 times 0.5 times 0.5 = 0.125 , times % = 12.5%
Wait, I just realised how to do the probability question(odds of all 3 being girls):- Since we need to find 2 genders from 3 kids, in short(if you're familiar with the coin toss example, specifically) we need to do 2³=8. From that 8(total outcomes), it's obvious that only 1 outcome would be all 3 girls. So from that we get 1/8(i.e. 1 out of 8 outcomes). Now converting that to % would be 1/8×100= 12.5% Took me a minute to realise it's the same as 3 coin toss, heads/tails example. If you know that, this calculation is super easy.

The odds is 1 to 7. The answer you accepted was the probability. In general if the probability of something occurring is m/n, with m/n in lowest terms, then the odds of it occurring is m to n-m. For some reason most people do not know the difference between odds and probability. It is understandable though because they are similar.

@@briantravelman Sure, it's an elimination game. When you've answered one question correctly (the fastest), you advance to the next round, and don't partake in the remainder of the same round. Each round is played down to 2 players, with the 1 loser being eliminated. When that happens, all the players who have advanced step back into play, and a new round starts following the same procedures. They signaled the advancers with checkmarks, but in the more recent videos they have them step away ti the side until next round, so I agree, it gets somewhat confusing.

India has the most people, so China IS second. It's the Golden Gate Bridge in SF. No one would say Golden.
Right, the host had a few major errors…
And you should only be able to answer once.
