If you are a corn bread lover, then you must try this recipe!! So soft and moist! :) #cornbread #homemadecornbread #albers #alberscornbread #potluckfood #churchfood #easyrecipes
So I tried a cornbread recipe yesterday and while the taste was good I hated the texture... However, this recipe turned out perfect, wonderful texture and taste... I added shredded sweetened coconut to mine and it was PERFECT😋😋.. Thanks for sharing
I like parts of this recipe but I use buttermilk plus a 1/2 tsp baking soda along with the baking powder. Also, no non stick spray, tastes terrible. I also use two eggs and 3/4 cup melted butter. Omit salt if salted butter.
Haha, I totally laughed when you were talking about how your daughter ditched you. You're hilarious! This is only my third video of yours that I have watched and I am in LOVE with your cooking videos! You make it so easy to follow and the videos are so enjoyable. You really remind me of Giada Laurentis! Fantastic videos!
I use this recipe, except two eggs and 3/4 cup milk. It isn't quite as "crumbly" with two eggs, is the only difference. (If you just chuck another egg in the batter without reducing the amount of milk the batter will be too thin.) DO NOT forget to add the honey to the top while it's hot!
Tried this recipe- on its own the cornbread isn't sweet and has a tiny bit of grit from the finely grit cornmeal. If you want it sweet you have to use a TON of honey. I found I used a lot and when I cut into it the honey only seeped down a centimeter into the cornbread. The parts that were coated in honey were delicious, but take my advice and use a lot more honey if you like sweet honey cornbread. Omit if you don't like it sweet. It pairs well with salted butter (for both sweet and savory cornbread) and jalepenos can be put in the batter for a spicy savory kick!
My friend told me so much about all your cupcakes that you bring to Proof! Making me so jealous! I wished I was in that department to eat all your baked goods! =)
Within 5 mins of watching this recipe I was in my kitchen making it!! I doubled the recipe as we have people coming round tomorrow and it's JUST gone in the oven! Not used a recipe with honey before. Sounds lush!
This looks yummy!!! And sometime ago after watching your video on the fried chicken or dinner rolls, I requested you do a video on BBQ ribs too! Still waiting 😀😀😀!!!!
Hi, I just made one today with your recipe. It was so good! Thank you so much. My friend really loved it but may I ask you one question? My friend just wanted it more buttery, sweeter,.. so can I use melted butter instead of cooking oil? Hope to hearing from you soon, thanks again :)
Yes,I've done it before. It works fine replacing oil with butter. Also, you can add butter to the top, with the honey, and slice each piece in half and put butter on like you do toast.
I like corn bread but i didn't know people make it sweet with honey and sugar, so if i want to keep it 'regular' like for soups and chili do i just omit the sugar and the honey? it looks really fluffy and tasty

I'm not sure where putting honey on cornbread came from but that's not traditional. I'll pass on the honey.
You tolk to much
you THINK they were watching the educational show but xD
8 years ago now Oo i wonder if they actually were watching something else or not haha
I like it
It doesn't make a difference what cornmeal you use. Corn meal is pretty much corn meal.
Bake it for 2 hrs at 500°.
I came to know abt this thing from an android game "hay day"
How does your daughter feel about being embarrassed in front of the whole RUclips community?
marunong kaba magtagalog?
No offence intended but that is not cornbread...
5:02 wiggle wiggle wiggle
would be great if she used organic ingredients instead of pharmaceutical drugs packaged as food
You're so cute ☺️. Love your recipes.
***** Thank you!
Talk too much
Dont like yours
You talk about everything unrelated but forget to give oven temp..you are on high horse calm down please and pay attention to major staff ....
Is cornmeal the same thing as cornstarch
No, it's not :)
