So great seeing those two playing in finals and winning titles again. I hope to see Naka and Ian win more, and for Magnus to feel motivated again to face stronger competition.
Unfortunately, I don’t think Magnus will be motivated. He proved for the last 12 years he is head and shoulders above anyone else. Unless some one will approach 2870 in classical I don’t see it happening

Love Hikaru, amazing player and desveres the win. But Nepo is an absolute monster in the sport, causes trouble for everyone and is as humble as any player I've ever seen. What a beast. Well done to both of you
We all should remember the moment when Wesley So sat next to Hikaru and helped him prepare a strategy for the final game. And when Hikaru won, he stand next to Wesley. It was just wholesome!
Fisher Random brings so much more true exploration of Chess' mechanics and expression. Really glad to see this game getting the time and attention it deserves. Wish Bobby Fisher could have seen this.

No, Magnus Carlsen is still the Official World Chess Champion. Fischer Random will likely never be the face of actual chess. I am currently stuck at 1400 elo rating in chess and have no clue how to progress.
