@@nikhildawani2913 He's a very dominant world champion but chess is one of the oldest games in the world. In terms of absolute dominance in their respective eras, he's not really in the running. If you disagree just read up on some previous greats. Compared to the masters of his era, Morphy may as well have been a god. Some of the stories about him read like bizarre out of world fantasy yet his games are well documented.
@@grottphd9090 bro I follow all morphy games very deeply and I have also read many articles on morphy and he was indeed way ahead of his time but I think Magnus has dominated in the hardest era of chess where all have got Ai tools,as nowadays we see some 8yo beating Gms so competition has increased way more than morphys era,and I think that is a Huge W that magnus has dominated in such an era
@@nikhildawani2913 Of course this is a more competitive era of chess lol but we're talking about dominance. Every era has better training tools than the last, if this is how we define the greatest ever then a new goat will come with practically every generation.
so is no one gonna talk about how Levy is straight up a ghost
How does he come up with these retorts. "My lag was my own blunder"
Hans talked too much crap. Chess really spoke for itself.
"Hope you appreciate what has been done to me "
?
17.5 to 12.5 angainst magnus is pretty good? Magnus compliments Han's improvements in play during the interview after
But you can tell magnus stopped caring at the end. After the 5 straight bullet wins making the gap 10 points magnus started playing crazy positions for fun since the lead couldn't be broken with the time remaining.
Why are they playing chess online if they are literally in front of each other?
"I was experiencing the issue of... uh... blundering" is absolutely wild
If you come at the king, you best not miss.
The only sad part is, he still isn't humble
Huge missed opportunity to not have Lance Stephenson blowing in LeBron's ear
nice vid bud
Hans gives off a more hatable persona humility is the key to humanity
Tournaments for money should all be played in a format like this, not in people's homes.
I like Hans. Every story needs its villain.
I find that most of the time people who talk way too much statistically end up either getting dragged through the dirt or have only a small stint of success before being put back down. Hans is a perfect example of that, another being Connor McGregor. Both talked far too much, had very quick success, but inevitably were put down.
Edit: I also want to add with his last statement of "wanting the chess to speak for itself", it did, he got beaten entirely. It seems like even though he's learned a "lesson" the toxicity is deep within him.
hans” damn i can’t cheat in paris olympics well its over.
Hans went from saying he was going to create his own World Chess Championship to asking the chess world to let him play in tournaments lmao. He's 21 but acts like a 12 year old.
Only 21 years old and already turning into a mini Kramnik...
Hans using the lag card in the friggin online chess tournament like it is Counter Strike game. lol.

Hey, I was a douche in my early 20s too
the last 5 games magnus was playing sili openings and lost on purpes couz hanz complained
hans looks like hes about to cry throughout the whole video
I think Hans was genuinely humble on the last bit.
no he wasn't he realized what a tantrum he through and tried to fix it.
dont forget Hikaru lost to alireza just to play Hans and won 21-9
Hans is good for chess makes it more entertaining
Magnus knew he won before those few losses at the end, he definitely just wanted to get the games over with so he could leave 😂 this was an incredible watch lol
I don’t know anything about chess I just wanted to see this dude get put in his place
hans is hilarious. hope he doesnt become depressingly anti social. chess already brings that out of some ppl but Hans has a chip on his shoulder. (So would I).
Lol character development at the end
A better analogy then a basketball player is Hans is the "Nate Diaz" of chess. He just talks trash, and is a bad boy for chess. This is actually what is needed to get eyeballs on chess. Now they just need to allow trash talk during games, and drop any dress code, and they could actually get money and sponsors and eyeballs on chess.
There’s a part of me that is wondering if he purposefully dangled a win there…
After Magnus & Hikaru thrashed Hans, even Hans thinks he must have cheated in past.
