@@tanaelbudiman6392 Totally agree. Hans trying to show that lag moved that knight the second time as a an attempt to offer some kind of proof of malfunction reminds me of a guy I used to golf with--if he hit a bad shot he would always blame his clubs, and then he'd childishly hit another shot purposely bad as proof of how "bad" the equipment was, and that he couldn't play with it anymore. Another friend of mine finally had enough of the complaining and grabbed the "bad" club and nailed a great shot and the guy left the course immediately.
In the same vein, I wish Magnus had switched computers with him and continued smoking him--that would have been the nail in the coffin of this nonsense.

@@brianthedog2004 that's just how sore losers are, while magnus is humble and even when he loses, knows that no one else is at fault except him and his bad plays (not that I understand any of the plays he makes, being a 700-800).
Makes me really look up to Magnus, he knows that it's just a game while Hans thinks he is Lex Luthor or something like that, makes magnus look so much better in comparison.
Also in my opinion, magnus has a lot more to lose in this match (defending his title as "the greatest chess player") and still being this humble is crazy.

Magnus was ranked number 1 in the world at 19 yrs old (only 3 yrs older than when Hans admitted having to cheat to win) , and won his first world championship at 22. Kasparov was World Champion at 22. Gukesh just won the candidates at 17...etc.. Hans will never be in the the same conversation as the truly great prodigies, no matter how much he brags that he is.

To be honest, he is the person who brought basically the whole world including mainstream media the accusation of Hans cheating. You can view them as isolated event but the game he played against Hans was really normal according many well-acclaimed GM including Finegold and Naroditsky.
Let's assume he doesn't cheat apart from childhood and private irrelevant events. You can understand why he is so angry. He was in the critical age for breaking through into GM. Just look at Hikaru's video on how most GM makes a huge leap around the age from 18-21. He is basically a child being attacked from the whole world and he at the end did make a breakthrough. And let's be honest, he was under stricter security check for tournaments. With all the grudge for the last 2-3 years, you can see why.

I find that most of the time people who talk way too much statistically end up either getting dragged through the dirt or have only a small stint of success before being put back down. Hans is a perfect example of that, another being Connor McGregor. Both talked far too much, had very quick success, but inevitably were put down.
Edit: I also want to add with his last statement of "wanting the chess to speak for itself", it did, he got beaten entirely. It seems like even though he's learned a "lesson" the toxicity is deep within him.
