Here is where I would put my impressions of the public demo... if we had one.

sadly I don't think people would react too well to a demo. There was already a bunch of annoying discourse about the framerate etc. The game is at least 6 months away, but if there's naturally bugs and hiccups, I think that would end up dominating the news. People just get way too worked up about FPS lol

I don't usually pre-order but the Monster Hunter team has never disappointed in the over 15 years I've played this franchise so this is a no-brainer!
Plus we get extra cosmetics so it’s a win win

One of the best franchises for sure. It feels like all the good things of an MMO without really being an MMO and without all the bad stuff of an MMO

It will be released before the end of March. That’s when the fiscal year in Japan ends.

I am already sold on this being a fan since the dawn of this amazing and lovely franchise, kindly please give us who couldn't attend gamescom a public demo so we can have our own first impressions. Regardless of when the demo comes out, it's a preorder digital deluxe from me as soon as the game is available.
I'd love to try the game out with friends online to convince them to pre-order 👁 too bad we don't have a public demo yet

We will likely get a demo, just probably a month or 2 before launch.
I hope the "there is no still time" is an exaggeration, cus I enjoy the downtime when monsters run away. The calm bits make the intense bits better and vice versa.
You have to get there first. And also the monster will still change locals.
The idea of being able to physically move out of the village or outpost and then ride out to the area you will be hunting is really exciting to me.
At least that’s what I think it’s going to be like and I’m excited.

@@jayer.Even if they're a bot I do agree lol I like any game that uses less and less loading screens like when I played god of war and the cutscenes were the gameplay which was sick. I just hope it's not a slog now to have to run from the village and to wherever the monster I need to hunt is depending on the map size.

It's so tantalizing how they let us hear just enough to get our minds spinning and then just leave us to wait! Like, mantle rework? Hints on juat the sheer SIZE of the game, the storms, the Seikret... I need to see this all for myself now!

Probably not till the end of this year or near the end
@@MH3Raiser I am hoping for late December, it will align perfectly giving them three months for people to try the demo and gain more sales. If they actually intend to release this game before the fiscal year which is March of next year, then the demo has to drop in December 2024 or late February i think. All speculations of course as my uncle doesn't work at Capcom lol.

World came out in January 2018 and to date it is CapCom's best selling game of all time. I suspect they'll be emulating every aspect of that release. My guess is January 24th

One thing I hope they add to the Seikret that I've seen no one mention is the ability to swap weapon on foot while next to the Seikret. Only being able to swap while mounted seems and feels oddly limiting, in my opinion.
Hoping for an early winter release! Need it by january! March at the latest :P

@@johannesnagengast7643 MHGU and MHG4U were very similar… a lot of the old games were. I miss underwater combat though. I wish they’d bring that back for more variety in gameplay.
@@tw1ststrpe216 huh? 4U and GU weren’t very similar. Sure the base mechanics were but other than that no way. 4U brought the IG with the mounting system also that you would travel around.
In GU you had a whole different combat system with all those styles and abilities. Wich was insane compared to previous title. I see way less difference from world to wilds than there were from 4U to GU.

Why have put down the Quest-Board, that was since the first game part of MH?
I am very excited about MHWilds, but I am afraid it’s stepping deeper into an action genre than it should be.
Even the map is digital, I really loved the concept with the hunters guide (big book).
I really hope we get a demo sooner rather than later, before february 2025 hopefully
Having played the demo at Gamescom quite a lot, my first impressions of the game are very positive too. The Combat felt great and the monsters were all pretty fun to fight (though Chatacabra didn't really put up much of a fight).
Rey Dau felt really good to fight though it was surprisingly easy (probably because of the demo, it only had 5 moves in total).
The only things I'm worried about are performance (which I'm sure they'll fix before launch),
the wonky new timer (In the demo it was super easy to abuse and even when not abusing it was inconsistent when the quest would "begin", sometimes after 10s, other times after over 3 minutes of fighting the monster) and the absence of Poogie.
Please bring him back :(

Aside form the great games, I also see the culmination of Monster Hunter and Capcom's hardworks in community management... Never have I ever wondered, that this "niche" will grow up into a global community. My younger self would be so happy to hear that we're really living and playing together in the "Hunter's Guild" now.... Cheers Hunters, we'll set sail for the Forbidden Land in 2025!!!

I came into Monster Hunter im the generation of gen ultimate and 4 ultimate, I love world and rise each for different reasons, but Wilds is gonna be AMAZING and im so happy to hear everyone loved the gameplay they got.

@@MrEysox Because sometimes a hunter wants to go from booping the snoot to cutting tails & being able to guard and counter some monster in the same hunt.
My hunting style will be hella impractical.

Almost all of every upcoming release games has demo. Hopefully Capcom will make one also

I bounce around between CB, S&S, Glaive and Bow but I honestly can’t wait to try HH in Wilds

Honestly, I hope the DLC to Wilds will reintroduce underwater combat and the return of Fatalis, but not just the OG, but the Crimson and White variant, too.

Crim and White, sure, the problem is that Fatalis canonically fucking died in Iceborne

@mydrillasanjay5397 I disagree, that totally murders the uniqueness of Fatalis as a whole if there's a new/returning version of Fatalis each game. Part of what makes Fatalis so cool and unique is how unusual he is, not how many world ending death gods look like him
I hope they have more moves and combo strings, it adds so much variety to playstyles.
Still hoping for lance to have counter guard or counter thrust back. Other than that, happy hunting fellow warriors!!
Why? you get perfect block counters which are basically the same thing but work in more situations and are safer, and on top of that you get the offset counter that acts as a parry with a bonus knockdown.

Watching this video reminded me of those weapon charms you could craft in ice borne and I think they’d be cool to add back in as long as they don’t have stat changes they are easy to make and they don’t come from micro transactions

World didn't do it for me, but this is sounding like it's fixing a lot of the problems I've had with that game. Also Followers are staying, which is a plus for me. (now if only Prowlers would return, lol)
