But I think I have to go back for the last two sessions because I see the birthmark coming back just a bit. (I’m exposed to sun a lot and the first thing they tell you is to avoid sun exposure on the area) so I think it’s my fault. But it’s so faint it’s barely noticeable (just to me lol)

I can’t agree Davin on Fraxel for Type 3-4 skins. We have been doing this since 2007 when Fraxel was first released in Australia and many treatments later on darker skin types I have only seen PIH in 2 cases and this was very transient. Fraxel has also been significantly more effective than nano-laser (Q-switched Nd:YAG) for melasma.

Discovery Pico was great on my pale skin for huge pores and provided great skin rejuvenation. Friends said that my skin looked 80% better after 2 treatments. My dermatologist treated melasma on my face with "piqo laser" so agressive and demaged my skin. I was look like burnt chicken. I went to another doctor and she could not belive what doctor did to me. One year later I have dermatitis and scars yet. And that "piqo" treatment did not remove melasma. (Before this treatment I never had dermatitis and scars). I can not on the sun because it burns me. I always use screencreen SPF 50 and another doctor treated my face with PRP-injective treatment. Before I had normal skin. Now I have demaged, sensitive, very dry skin. It destroy my skin tone also. Dermatologist never returned me money for the worst treatament in my life! My skin barrier is demaged, so that mean I have bigger chance for skin cancer. And for hiperpigmetation. All my face look different now and all that pain affected me mentally. Treataments and creams cost me a lot after this piqo treat😮ment. Btw, PRP-injective treatment is much better for skin than lasers.

I’m getting pico laser tattoo removal for a blackout tattoo that the “artist” fucked up. I’ve got a lot of scars that look like self harm scars because of it. In fact almost the entire thing is a scarred. Is it possible that while my tattoo is being removed that the scar tissue will also improve? I’m worried what my scars will look like when there’s no ink there. I don’t mind the odd scar I have them all over my body, but this thing is messed up. I’ve had acne for at least ten years and I’ve tried everything but I’m afraid of accutane. I never even considered it because I struggle with pretty bad depression and anxiety but I just found a medication that’s really helping (sertraline). Could I go on accutane? I also have dry or dehydrated skin so that’s another reason I didn’t think it would work for me.
I was on Accutane twice at 17 and 28. I am 57 and have great skin, once you take Accutane it never comes back again. I was a teenager when I first Accutane and I did use it the way I should of so ten years later I had once cyst. I took it correctly and I would do it again, it’s worth it. Then when your done with Accutane wait one year and start getting fillers or laser treatments. Now, my skin is really nice and as we ages we start to get drier skin, which is better then oily skin! Don't use 532nm, or use a lower fluence. In my experience with Pico 532nm is toooo agresive. When you pass the 0.5 fluence
