I’ve always loved your professionalism with your videos never any loud noises or poor quality video every item you test fairly and correctly props to you man
We've owned a BedJet for about 2 years now and its been one of the best purchases we've made. My husband is hot natured and tends to sweat a lot at night. I spent $100s over the years on special cooling sheets and pillows, but literally nothing works. This, on the other hand, has been a total game changer. He stays cool and comfortable all night. I'm the total opposite and have icy cold feet all of the time. So when I go to bed, I turn on turbo to warm up and I'm out like a light. And yeah - its expensive. But we wasted so much money on shit that doesn't work, its a relief to spend the same amount on something that DOES work so well.
I immediately bought one after this review came out and to this day my wife and I agree it was the best purchase we've ever made. The only con is it's now awful to sleep anywhere but our own bed.
@Null yes I do, it really is an amazing product. Once you get used to the ability to blow air through your sheets you can't live without it. Bought it in December of 2019 and still gets daily use. That said, I bought their bedjet sheet and it was pretty much pointless - would not recommend that personally.
I don't believe it. How does it cool your bed without an exhaust going out the window or something? I live in freaking Texas bro, can it handle indoor temperatures of 77 degrees?
@@elitexero same thing I said about my massaging adjustable bed base with built-in USB ports. We charge our adult toys and phones on the side of the bed which has pockets too. But you can't beat 4 motors, one for each of our heads and feet with white a few different massage patterns. I plan to add the bedjet to this , we have a 40 lb weighted blanket .
I'd guess most cat people still like dogs to some degree, or they're at least neutral towards them. I like both equally! But Bailey is one of my favourite dogs on the internet :p
That's actually something we've used in operating rooms for many years. It keep the patient warm while the case is ongoing. They come in different configurations for different exposure. Very effective. Good review
I've had mine for about a year and absolutely love it! My bedroom has very poor circulation while the HVAC's on and gets extremely warm, making it absolutely unbearable for sleep. This has been the perfect solution. Great thing is that you zero in on that perfect temperature that is just right for you. This has been one the most absurdly stupid purchases I've ever made but yet I can honestly it has been one of the best. Seriously though.....don't let a fart go. That's been my one and only regret involving this purchase.
If you're ever down to try it - order the Buffy Eucalyptus duvet cover, it works as a perfect replacement for the Cloud sheet. I avoid the cloud sheet because I'm a hot sleeper, so anything cotton doesn't come anywhere near my bed, and the Buffy duvet is made from a cooling fabric that feels wonderful!
I wonder if you used a plastic tub, with holes cut for the duct on each side, and filled with ice. As is melts it'll turn to water in the tub so no mess, and you'd cool the duct, thus the air.
Ingenious!! Also much more reasonable in price. Although probably not as pretty. But then again I looked up at that one and it's not pretty either. Have you thought about putting a radiant heater in front of it? Or another heater instead of the ice for winter.
I was thinking the same. We sleep with a fan on us all night every night even in the winter and I was looking forward to this review but at this price... yikes... I'll just keep my cheap box fan blowing on us all night. I wonder if there is a comparable product out there that achieves similar results with a lower price tag? Must not be yet, right? Here's hoping that there will be later! ;)
A box fan and an oversized bed sheet is what I used to use to escape the summer heat as a kid, lol. Watching this video has brought back those memories for some reason.
I Used those very same items along with refrigerator boxes and chairs to make an indoor clubhouse it was lit had the tv and Nintendo in all 😂😂😂😂 I Lived in the projects apartment complex so it was easy for me to get the boxes from the office after they installed a new refrigerator.
So glad that you reviewed that! I suffer from anxiety and am so glad your daughter also reviewed the weighted blanket. I think between the blanket and the bed jet it will make a big difference in how well I sleep. Here's hoping! Anything above 3 - 4 hours will be an improvement!
It's always good to see Bailey in the reviews. I would consider getting a bed jet yes it's a high price but if people have a hard time sleeping because of the temperature it would be worth the higher cost.
Here's an idea, put down the single or dual zone sheet with the BedJet and then put your purple sheet over top of that? If you do a revisit of this item I think that would be a good thing to try.
I think he likes the feel of purple sheets against body. Maybe it should be top to bottom: thick blanket, bed jet sheet, purple sheet , body. Might half to crank up the cool or heat though.
Wow, I had no idea it had a heat setting! I have very poor circulation and even though I live in Florida I still suffer from being cold all the time. (With the exception of the summer months when I never complain about the heat) even with our mild winters I have to wear slippers and use blankets all the time. This may really help me. I'm like the only person in this state who doesn't own a pair of scnadals! My feet would freeze! This is going on my list for sure! P.S. whoever said Bailey was in too many videos doesn't appreciate dogs. The rest of us love her!
I have a first generation BedJet and love it! It saved me from nightly sweating in bed, even though my home is not that warm (no air conditioning here). One thing I do is run the air between the top sheet and my blanket so the air isn’t actually passing around my body, but over the sheet and so it’s a bit less direct, which I like
Even though this is Version 2, I bought the newer Version 3, which I just love in hot Palm Springs, CA. The remote and much thinner blower unit on version 3 is Far superior to version 2. Great review as usual! (FYI: BedJet 3=$419. King Single zone Cloud Sheet=$139).
This sounds like a great thing for people in RVs and camper vans when camping during cold nights. With this, it would be just heating the bed, rather than the whole RV, and is probably easier on power...
Yes, I'm so glad you ended up reviewing this product! Thank you James, great review as always! I look forward to the update after you have tried this for a while and I look forward to finding out how it works during the summer months. And to whoever it was that complained about too many videos with Bailey in it, SMH. What a sad thing to be annoyed by, lol. I love seeing Bailey in your videos James. Keep doing whatever you enjoy doing in your videos :)
It’s refreshing to see a high end quality device that actually works as advertised and serves a useful purpose, but that is a steep price for what is essentially an air conditioner for your bed. But I think it’s worth the investment if you’re looking for Something like that.
I have the dual bedjet as wife likes it cool and I like it warmer and is a great investment. You should try the biorhythm mode. Helps wake you up on time especially on cold mornings.
For years, a box fan on a table at the end of the bed would work too. You just have to use a clothes pin or three to keep the blanket attached to the fan frame. No heat though.
I live here in vegas and I've had mine for a few years now and it's AMAZING!!!! Even in winter I sleep with a window open and a fan on. So having my bed nice and cool in the middle of summer without having to lower the air conditioning to the whole upstairs of the house is FANTASTIC. Most of the time I never have to set the unit to more than 25%. Any higher and it's freezing. If it broke today I would immediately buy another one.
@Null hell yes I do lol. It works great. I keep my bed nice and cool every night. My puppy doesn't always like it though lol. There are 2 things I would replace immediately if ever broken. My keurig machine and bedjet. Lol.
@Null yes just remember it's not an air conditioner unit so it's not like you can have your air conditioning at 80 but I've been able to keep it at 76 or 75 at night with a ceiling fan on as well vs 72. The bed stays plenty cool set at 20-25% I also put it directly under the sheet vs inside in. I like the air directly on me vs through the inside of the blanket.
When your air goes out is when you you'll appreciate it the most... The air moving across your skin will give you a cooling effect (evaporative cooling) due to the moisture in your skin. I'm not sure how much better it'd be over a ceiling fan w/no sheets but tons of people like to have some kind of blanket/sheet on for that comfort factor.
Yay Bailey. Love your doggos. You surprised me with this product. I never knew it was even a thing until watching your video. Looks like it would be nice in Australia's climate.
There actually is a HUGE con: it doesn't come with some kind of built-in cooling system. Many people, like me, don't a/c or a swamp cooler. I'm a renter, and most people who rent in my area don't have these either. Using a window a/c isn't always an option, either, depending on the landlord. At any rate, they should consider upgrading their product by including some kind of cooling system, which would definitely increase the demand for their product - especially during heat waves like this year!
3 cheers for Bailey!! I cracked up when you found a home under the bed LOL she was saving that for later, like 3am when you're sound asleep. Crunch, cromch, slurp, crunch.
You can set it for 12 hours?? I can't remember the last time I have slept for 12 hours! Probably when I was a teenager haha And Bailey can never be in too many videos! She is always welcome! ❤️
I love Bailey in your videos. Sometimes, best thing about it is the dog. Some of the products are crap, but the dog makes me forget about how bad the products are.
How is it actually cooling you if its blowing air underneath you? Doesnt your weight cut circulation since you are laying on top of the sheets and this is blowing it under?
Could probably get the same effect with a fan and some Home Depot ducting. Or if want it because too cold in bed….electric blankets are cheap and great.
what an interesting product... We need to review for when summertime hits.. I also live in the desert, air-conditioning is crazy expensive... Seems like, it could help keep you cool at night. I also would like to know what the current draw is... How many amps in the cool mode, that should be pretty much fan only. Great demonstration on the product... Will wait to hear future reviews on this product. Summers only about a month away.
I’m a cat person, and even I love seeing Bailey. I love this review too. I’m a hot flash queen with a non-functioning furnace, so I rely on piles of cats and heating blankets to stay warm, and in the summer, fans are a must. This is very tempting. I bet the cats would freak over that rippling sheet. Lol
FIY: Try to get the intake about 10" off the floor. Because walking around will keep dust from settle on the floor to about 6" above the floor. It's also a good idea to keep computers OFF the floor too.
I have a bedjet and I love it. I have night sweats. so it really helps. You didn't show how the app you can control the bedjet threw the night with custom programing. Lets say you want to start off with the bed hot for 10 minutes then get cooler as the night goes on and turn down the strength of the fan. you can do that with the app. Also if you are only using it on one side you can turn down the watts that it uses via a switch on the back of the unit. My wife and I have one and use it all the time. It's great in the winter when it's cold.
This is basically a patient warmer like you'd see in an operating room. Looking at the cost makes me wonder if it's actually just rebadged medical equipment.
So it's just a fan? It doesn't actually cool the air? I use a 20 inch fan on a chair next to my bed. Sometimes it doesn't always help, since the air in the room is hot
I thought about getting this for when It gets cold. Sometimes I like my bed a little warm under the sheets. For $350, I'll pass and just stick with my $15 hair dryer lol. Cool concept though. Thanks for sharing. This was the first video I watched of yours. You do a nice job presenting the product and giving an honest review. I hope your channel grows...keep up the good work! 👍
Can you set it to auto adjust itself to maintain a certain temperature during sleep? In other words, in the middle of the sleep cycle, I wake up sweating. Would the Bed Jet prevent that from happening?
This is what they used in some hospitals to blow warm ear prior to surgery in a special disposable gown. It was so nice, as freezing in hospital. Jeanne retired RN
Hi! We've tested the BedJet under two winter weight down comforters and had no problem with air flow, but we have not tested the BedJet under a gravity blanket. However, we do have a number of BedJet owners that use their units successfully with weighted blankets. Let us know if we can help with any other product questions! info@bedjet.com / 401-404-5250 bit.ly/2CTR89H
Wow ! I had this idea 10 -12 years ago. Except mine was cooling only. Using only a centrifugal fan as the source. I wonder if the hose, mattress mount and discharge nozzle can be purchased separately ? With those items I could make a cooling system at a fraction of the price.
Who would say that about Bailey! Is there such as thing as too much?! Love the review. This is something I'm going to keep in mind when my bf and I are fighting with the sheets. LOL!
I have an electric blanket but was thinking of getting a heated pad for the bed, but then I remembered your constant bedjet recommendation. If I don’t get it before next winter, definitely will then
normally I love your reviews, but this time, you just didn't "get it." you need to turn it to 100%. ALWAYS. you don't need the special sheets, use your own. and it DOES cool you CONSIDERABLY even if you don't have AC and your house is over 80 degrees. I was skeptical when I bought mine, but two years later, its the greatest thing I've ever bought. I save a ton of money on heat and AC and I'm always comfortable year round (at least when I'm in my bed, ha.) give it another try, it's simply amazing.
I would love to see you review the Chilipad from Brookstone. As well as test the longevity, because people say it's great when it works, but breaks often
Excellent review. We need this in our house. I have a fan or air conditioner blowing on me, she's a shivering goose down cannoli. Totally worth it to me. After all, what's a good night's sleep worth. I assume these are costly because it is NOT simply a fan and tubing.
I have had a twin bed version for almost a week. It seems that when I put the comforter on top of their double sheet, I do not feel much air even though it is on high. On the cool, It seems to do fine with nothing on top. Almost seems like there needs to be more holes in it with a little more powerful blower. When it is on Heat, oh my!! Buy this right before winter and I think you will think it is worth every penny. Buy it now, I think you will be a little happy with it, but think you paid too much. Since there is not an A/C compressor on this or no cooling, you are somewhat limited to what you can do with it when it is warm. However, it does plainly state this in the manual. They could incorporate a cooling unit in it that would drop the room temperature coming in by 30 Deg. without using a compressor. It would add no more noise and would only make the unit a little bigger. May add $40-$50 at max to the unit overall cost. This would make this more useful all year long.
I love my BedJet. Totally worth the price. It’s super quiet and the app is pretty easy to use. I like that you can customize a program of fan speeds for the BedJet to follow thru the night. I have mine start at a higher speed for the first 20 mins, then gradually decrease over a few hours until I’m at 30% fan speed. I use my own sheets, putting the air nozzle over the top sheet but under my comforter. I still feel a nice breeze, but that way stopped my feet from freezing. I also placed the nozzle on the side of my bed instead of at the end. Seems to look better and I haven’t noticed much difference.
Everybody likes a dog tax, so we don't mind Bailey at all. Also, I really enjoyed the under the bed segment. Personally, fun editing / filming angles / locations is always a good time. Edit: Also, that bone you found under the bed. Seriously there's like 5 in my house at random locations that look exactly like it. He'll get to that point and then move on to a new one.
Whoever complained about Bailey being in too many videos, they have never been loved before. Anyways, this product is GOLD!!! I am considering buying it but....I'm afraid I won't get out of bed 😬
I can’t *BELIEVE* someone complained that you put Bailey in too many videos! I’m so glad that you decided *NOT* to listen to that”person”. I always look forwarded to seeing little glimpses of her. 🙂
I used to do something similar on really hot days, I'd attach the end of my sheet to a box fan on a chair at the base of my bed and it'd inflate it like an air tent. I think I actually saw a product like that somewhere online. I actually have a good air conditioner now, so I don't need to do it anymore, but that trick really saved me on sweltering nights, I don't think I would've been able to sleep otherwise, heck even used it during the day to cool down. Was a bit loud but a small price to pay to not be unbearably hot.
Thank you for reviewing this. I had looked into this a few months ago but I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on something that either didn’t work or would be so loud it would prevent me from sleeping. I might have to try one out and get my mom one also.

I love Bailey in your videos. Sometimes, best thing about it is the dog. Some of the products are crap, but the dog makes me forget about how bad the products are.
If anything, I would complain about not enough Bailey in your videos.
Could you also use a duvet cover as the dual sheet, it would work as well, or sew 2 of your favourite sheets together to create a dual sheet..
How dare they complain about Bailey! She's everyone's dog!
It's been 4 years. Do you still use this or have you moved onto something else or just regular sheets and no extra bedside gadget?
I love bailey! Forget that person who said that.
How is it actually cooling you if its blowing air underneath you? Doesnt your weight cut circulation since you are laying on top of the sheets and this is blowing it under?
This is the best! I live in Florida it's hot! Being on a budget this helps. NO need to blast my a/c
No such thing as too much Bailey! Such a good puppy.
Way out of my price range. Thanks for the review and LOVED seeing sweet Bailey!!!
Lol
I thought about that, too! cats be like - hey! I'm the only 'mystery moving lump' allowed on this bed!' 🤣
@@lauranolastnamegiven3385 my cats are why I have to get a bedjet vs a chilipad
FIY: Try to get the intake about 10" off the floor. Because walking around will keep dust from settle on the floor to about 6" above the floor. It's also a good idea to keep computers OFF the floor too.
Never can get enough of Golden's. 👍👍
Hmm... Asking the real questions. 🤔
The medical ones are called bair huggers. Only differences are they are a lot larger and cost thousands.
We have the Sleep Number bed with climate. It’s great! Highly recommend it to anyone. It’s not cheap either but it’s effective.
The best sleep ever after buying my BED JET. 2..No more night sweats.
What if you ran the Artic Air in front of the Bed Jet's air intake? Do you think it'd manage to give you colder air?
So it's just a fan? It doesn't actually cool the air?
I use a 20 inch fan on a chair next to my bed. Sometimes it doesn't always help, since the air in the room is hot
No such thing as to much Bailey. Thanks for another great review.
At 9:00 he mentions this feature
BenL : Thanks! I missed the bed dry feature.
Reminds me of heated inflatable blanket they used when I was in pre op for surgery, Post op too.
Cool product. Very thorough review as always. Maybe if you're going to keep doing bed products you could get some full on Hugh Hefner satin jammies.
This is what they used in some hospitals to blow warm ear prior to surgery in a special disposable gown. It was so nice, as freezing in hospital. Jeanne retired RN
How well does it work with your weighted blanket on the bed?
HordeLightningrod good question!
LOL!
No, there is such thing as too little Bailey. She needs to be in every video or it isn't enough.
Great review. We love our bedjets! Twice a year they put them on sale for around $200. Worth every penny!
Do you know specifically which two times in the year they put them on sale?
Man I need to buy this..I have erythromelalgia and have night sweats non stop, I sleep with my window open in freezing temps lol..
Bailey is an angel I think most of your real fans lover her. She’s adorable
No more Dutch Ovens for the wife/girlfriend, husband/boyfriend if you buy one of these!
My thoughts......he would not need one!
“Once again I find myself filming myself in bed”
To anyone who doesn’t have any sort of background context, this sounds so bad.
Excellent review. We need this in our house. I have a fan or air conditioner blowing on me, she's a shivering goose down cannoli. Totally worth it to me. After all, what's a good night's sleep worth. I assume these are costly because it is NOT simply a fan and tubing.
can we just get a Bailey side channel where she reviews dog treats or something?
No Man's Land aka The Dog Divet
I love my BedJet. Totally worth the price. It’s super quiet and the app is pretty easy to use. I like that you can customize a program of fan speeds
for the BedJet to follow thru the night.
You heard it here first, ladies. He's single 😉😉😉
Whoo!

@@greenidguy9292 I thought she was in a video of his.
Your videos are really great.
Thank you, from the Netherlands
Whoever complained about Bailey being in too many videos, they have never been loved before. Anyways, this product is GOLD!!! I am considering buying it but....I'm afraid I won't get out of bed 😬

I can’t *BELIEVE* someone complained that you put Bailey in too many videos! I’m so glad that you decided *NOT* to listen to that”person”. I always look forwarded to seeing little glimpses of her. 🙂
Never too much Bailey.
I need more Bailey in my life.
Thank you for reviewing this. I had looked into this a few months ago but I didn’t want to spend that kind of money on something that either didn’t work or would be so loud it would prevent me from sleeping. I might have to try one out and get my mom one also.
Eh... for that price I'll just put a fan on a table onto my face to keep cool.
