I use different colored balls. Like neon yellow and neaon green and my kids gave me pink/blue/purple balls last year. Will it make the blue balls disappear? (Geez don't read that out of context🤦♀️)
I laughed so hard watching you try to get Bailey into that wet suit! Seeing her hop around just made my day! The sassy look Daisy gave you is something my dog would do too.
Why is the name of whatever would anyone put something like that on their dog?! My dog hates clothing unless it's really cold outside, and even then it's a little sweater.
A lot of animals will do that with any types of clothing. Normally they get used to it over time. Animals just find it weird. imagine never wearing cloths and then putting on cloths for the first time.
Even in this video the difference is drastic. The thing is that he kind of has an idea of where they're located because he only threw them 30-40 yards, and there are multiple balls clustered in close proximity to one another, if he were hitting 1 ball 1000 meters and had to find it from a distance they'd be a god send.
He didn't really utilize them for locating the ball while it is in the air, which I would think would be very helpful on a hole where it's harder to track the ball from the tee.. I also agree that it made a noticeable difference in the grass, especially the taller grass.
Zoologist here saying be careful with the Shed Defender. If it's holding in dog hair that means your dog can't easily self regulate temperature by shedding. What this means is that your pup will overheat faster in high temperatures than a dog not wearing it. I'm not saying it's bad (can definitely help with anxiety issues in some dogs) just be cognizant of the heat issue and provide extra water. Also be prepared for more drooling as they'll have to cool their body down somehow.
Jaime Johnesee finally someone else who gets it. I saw some people comment that it would not overheat a dog bc "that's now how this works" dogs don't sweat that way etc 🤦
For the dog shedding product, I think the couple of points they made about UV protection and medical uses (like maybe if your dog had a ointment you didn't want them to lick that went over a large area, it would be better than a cone for long term use) is what they should market it for. If you care that much about getting hair everywhere, you shouldn't get a dog.
I think the fry holder might also be good for holding juice boxes or drink pouches like Capri Sun. That might make it worthwhile to have in the backseat for the kids.
I was thinking that as well, but then again I've never let my nieces, and nephews in my car with any kind of Juice box/bag, they have to have a cup with a sealed lid.

The shed defender looked uncomfortable, plus what's the material? Is it breathable? I feel like trapping all that hair in there might overheat the dog.
That was very comical with the dogs, it really made me laugh 😆! The shedding suit looked too small especially for Bailey and I agree with you on that I rather clean up behind them than make them feel uncomfortable wearing it.

Projected keyboards has been around for probably ten years or more, and they were never really good. The first models I saw was just for Wow factor. The amazing thing wasn't that they was good but that they worked at all. But the bling factor was through the roof, for about ten minutes and then they ended up in a drawer never to be used again. This one was almost useful, but as noted it wasn't fast and really lack any kind of tactile feedback. That's why they have that beep telling you that it has registered a keypress. In a way that was the same problem that has prevented desktop integrated touch keyboards from becoming a thing. That and the cost. These has also been around since what feels like forever, or at least the 80's. I think there was one shown in the movie Tron... Back in the 90's I looked at some desks with these integrated in the glass top. When activated the keyboard layout was lit up from under the glass and you were supposed to use it instead of a normal keyboard. It did work, and was perhaps just slightly better than this laser projected keyboard. Still it wasn't something you would want to write anything more than a very short note on. Lacking tactile feedback is a big thing. On a regular keyboard you even have a dimple marking the F and J keys to help you with finger placement. On these projected keyboards you have nothing like that and has to keep track of positioning with your eyes. So even if they can speed up and improve "keypress" detection until it's perfect every time and close to instant it still won't be as good to type on as a cheap keyboard. Even a roll up rubber keyboard has more feedback than this. As for playing Doom on it... Back in the day I once tried to play Doom on a notebook that had a choice of an integrated trackball or a trackpad, and the winner was none of the above. I can only imagine the pain trying to play Doom on a projected keyboard...
For the golf ball glasses, you should have your son/cameraman throw the balls forward without you looking as far as possible and you try to locate them with and without the glasses. Repeat a few times. Record the times and see which one is faster.

i think the issue with the glasses is that you know exactly where the ball is when you're looking at it, those glasses could be extremely useful actually playing the game in my opinion, its a general rule that players bring plenty of balls with them, especially newer players, because you will lose quite a few in the process that you're simply unable to find, if that were the case and you could see the actual direction that it went flying, but couldn't pick out where it landed, you could make a case they would be extremely useful in having such a stark contrast vs the grass its self
The "old school" way of holding fries leaves grease stains sometimes. Especially before an important meeting! So I've heard.😂😉 The glasses showed the golf balls great from a distance!

Hello, I think was blue glasses do help a little to find the golf balls. I would only use them to only find golf balls but not wear for an entire game. The clothing you try to put on your dogs because they are old they are not used to it also dogs usually have to get used to being dressed up. I started mine with some loose clothing first before I went with tight. And I don't always use type because it can make them over heat.
I think those glasses would work really well for older folks. Your eyes yellow as they age, so a white ball would look slightly yellow and blend in much more easily. The lenses made them look like they were glowing on camera; so there's probably a limited market, but I bet the folks that use them love them.
LOVE the golf ball glasses. they really seem to work, and I'd for sure use them. I doubt I'd wear them the entire day, but for sure I'd keep them in my pocket to find where I hit my ball.

Love your reviews. The way I see things is that even though items may work are they needed. None of these were. The shed defender was more of an annoyance than helpful. Poor bailey. Thanks for the great reviews. You're awesome.
I think those golf ball glasses work great for me. Being colorblind, the white and green tend to blend together at distances. With the blue tint, it really makes the grass dark and the balls stay bright.
With the Fry Holder I just pick from the bag. That works enough for me. With the Golf Ball finder: I feel like it made them pop out a little more. But I imagine wearing them constantly would be headache inducing. I remember I wanted one of those laser keyboards, I think they were over $150 when I wanted them. Now, I would miss the feeling of actual keys, and I couldn't type without constantly looking at the laser array. That doggy wet suit is hilarious. My dog gets excited putting on her harness, and can make it a struggle. I imagine a full suit would be hard.
My cousin got that laser keyboard when they first came out and he was so excited, maybe like 3 days later I was hanging out with him and saw him super frustrated with the keyboard constantly being slow and not accurate, and after a few more cuss words he got the laser projector and threw it into the pool, and got his old cheap keyboard again.
As someone who collects keyboards, and restores them I've had one of these before several years back, and I'd honestly rather type on rotting dog flesh as at least that would give some feedback when typing, and not hurt your fingers hitting them on a hard surface. plus the one I had connected to an Android phone at the time (Android 4.2 I believe it was) was just not very accurate.
2:52 Golf ball glasses, people see color differently putting a blue filter over the camera lens is not the same as wearing the glasses. I do think the white golf balls looked brighter through the camera but does it work with pink or yellow golf balls?
There are certain pet breeds that you can literally brush and comb daily (and some which you actually *have to* daily) and that still shed insane when being petted and touched in the slightest way.
I had to put my old girl down last week but she loved clothes. I only put them on her in the first place because she was short-haired and we moved from somewhere warm to somewhere cold. She got excited for clothes and once dressed would strut through the house making everybody fuss over her and tell her she was pretty. Some dogs just like stuff like that and others don't. That said, it's hard to find correctly-fitting clothes for bigger dogs so I tailored human hoodies for her. She had the same issue with a more bulky body that wasn't as long so guessing appropriate sizing for pet clothes was always a crap shoot. I have to think keeping those clothes on to "hold in" the hair would probably make them super itchy! Idk if you've tried it, but I whole-heartedly recommend The Furminator! They can be pricy but I snagged the large "short-haired" version for about $27 on Petsmart's website several years ago and it was a godsend. Her hair was like 1 inch long and she would shed sooo bad! I could've made a second 80lb dog with all it removed from one usage! 😂
On camera, the golf balls were definitely easier to see with the glasses.
It removes the background noise and lets you focus on the balls
I'd say it works and I went into it thinking pfft that's dumb

I think those golf ball glasses work great for me. Being colorblind, the white and green tend to blend together at distances. With the blue tint, it really makes the grass dark and the balls stay bright.
Golf ball finding glasses were neat.
Wow! I’ve lived in Vegas my whole life and only ever seen bighorn sheep a couple times ( both times by the Dam) that’s so awesome !
Those golf ball finder glasses reminded me of "The Silence of the Lambs".
Lol poor Baily 😨, " she is still looking at the like that" lol, hope you didn't scar her too much.
I wouldn't be surprised if that were specifically designed for McDonald's fries, as it even has a cutout to frame their logo.
This was really entertaining to watch when sleepy. Hahaha.
Poor Bailey looked like a stuffed sausage.
Bailey and Daisy are so cute! ♥️
Maybe you can use those blue glasses to find any crack you dropped on the shag carpet
I've had one before several years back, and yeah they are hell to type on, I'd rather type on dead dog flesh then one of these laser keyboards.
I feel like you are a savant at reviewing. You were born to do this!
I saw those laser keyboards coming out over a decade ago and thought they were an amazing idea. Even now, I still kind of want one.
Those glasses seem useful for Golfers with Myopia (Nearsightedness) ! I couldn't see the Balls without them in your video.
Watching this literally two weeks after a friend of mine accidentally spilled most of her fries in her truck! So funny!
Close your eyes and listen from 6:38 to 6:48 🤣
I was scrolling down the comments to see someone say this😂😂
2:52 Golf ball glasses, people see color differently putting a blue filter over the camera lens is not the same as wearing the glasses. I do think the white golf balls looked brighter through the camera but does it work with pink or yellow golf balls?
Even though my dog loves to wear her warm, fuzzy coat after a rainy walk she probably would hate the shed defender. It's so tight. Poor Bailey.
Holy moly that dog needs a good brushing.... 😳
No Eifel 65 reference with the glasses. Wasted opportunity!
I'm blue ba da ba dam ba da ba dee da
😂
As someone in the US I had to look that one up, as I've never heard of them, so yeah I'm not surprised James did not get this one either.
@@CommodoreFan64 - I'm in the US and knew what they were talking about. 😏
@@roxcyn Guess it's because I'm like James, and don't listen to that kind of generic pop crap.
