I was born in London in 1964 so when Till Death us do Party came out on TV, we as a family watched it and it was one of our favourite TV comedies. This brings back great memories and happy ones as well. They made great TV in those days when you had real freedom of speech, and comedy and comedians were really funny. There was no Nazi PC around and no woke nutters plus only two genders not the looney made up crap so called genders that actually doesn't exist. We had fantastic TV with only 3 TV channels that made great entertaining TV and you didn't care about paying the TV licence. Unfortunately today we have crap TV where they make one or two good TV programmes but the TV licence is far too expensive for the crap we get plus it's far too woke, PC and far left which has destroyed the enjoyment of TV entertainment. That is why I watch You Tube as you can still get some good TV programmes from the 60's and 70's the golden age of TV. 💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴

R I P GREAT ACTOR
Those were the days when a pram and baby could be left outside of a shop!
I remember the episode where Alf predicted the Thamesside being a new Las Vegas from Tower Bridge to Southend. Nearly there. Prophetic
"I only hope young Charles waits 'til the right one comes along..."
And we all know how well THAT turned out to be!
baby was bald at the match, full head of hair afterwards, thats some whisky!
8:56 - The BBC canteen at Television Centre did their duty here with pie, mash, bread and butter - all real, and all eatable on that table, but probably half cold by the time they filmed this scene. I remember the chips at Television Centre, were fantastic in my opinion, and so was their coffee.
i love alf garnett 1 of british best comedy
yep
Has anyone noticed Alf is the only one who uses his fork like a spoon!
I wonder if that was deliberate or just a suttle hint of the class system?
I can't keep my eyes off Una Stubbs
Proper 60/70s bird
Thats one thing you cant do these days leave your kid outside a shop in the pram
plastic wean lol
yeah. the good ole days. you could leave yer kid with uncle jim and cousin rolf and get pissed.
@@sprobablycancr4457 Yup, but both my parents smoked and there was no easy access to porn. Hardly any black folk in them daze! What's an avocado?
You can be a Brexiteer and love Alf or you can be a Guardian reader and hate him, but at least this family back then talked, argued and laughed with one another. Today all half the sodding population do is stare at their wretched smartphones or laptops !!
You can also be a Guardian reader and love him.
@@paddycable1723100% Agree
I expect the baby enjoyed the change 😅
Leaves her baby outside a shop then blames her husband because it's gone 😂
His real name was David not Edward, that was just the name he chose to be known as as King
"In the junk shop where all of England's great men end up and all of England's great history covered in cobwebs". A quote written even before today's woke generation.
Living with Alf must be a real nightmare.
What a good grandad taking the nipper to football 😅
I have never laughed so much in my life!!!
"Only hope young Charles waits for the right one"
MY GRANDAD CEPT HE HAD MORE HAIR REST IN PEACE POPS 1900 TO 1979 ♥️🚬🍺
TDDUP, Rising Damp, Love Thy Neighbor, Steptoe and Son, Benny Hill, those were the days ......when British sitcoms could write what they like and not have to worry about PC. Sneaky move, the British govt, not allowing reruns and syndication. I was in the UK in the late 80's and never saw old UK sitcoms.
They still show Rising Damp and Porridge though with sneaky little cuts. Buy the box sets and watch them when YOU want.
23:10 "Does he smoke"? "Course he don't smoke his only a baby isn't he"....says Alf as he dips the baby's dummy in his scotch.
Can you remember laughing so much at a modern middle class sitcom , now it has to be politically correct comedy actors who are just not funny, we are now being told what to watch instead of asking us I mean we are only the viewers this is the reason youtube is so popular.
ferreday1 r
which episode is it where alfs wife says Mary coudlnt find an inn to give birth to jesus because it was Christmas...Then Alf says'you silly moo, they didnt have christmas then, Jesus wasnt even born yet!'' that ws really funny. was thinking of it as its the christmas season now...
That was the christmas special from 1972.
Titled 'Jesus Christ, Super Star'
I can't believe they gave Alf a real one to take to the match ..
It was in a studio, and the match was just edited in ...
Absolutely brilliant👏👏👏👏
Alf's right about bringing up kids 😂
The truth is often concealed in humour
I am from India and i found this so hilarious...
This is funny on either side of the color line
The special effects and CGI in this video is very realistic.
