One noise is the evac valve which always makes a ticking but you do need to replace chain and tensioner
Normal... But if u still have the car and have not done the upgrade i would consider doing it soon.
Yes mate got one in garage for same job tomorrow
All the tsi engines make this noise
Yeah what was the problem?? Mine sounds the same..
Albert Ambroise I was told it was just the purge valve clicking and that it is normal,
Kirk Hawthorne yeah i can hear the clicking but other than that sounds ok
I have same issue. did you fix ?
Michael Theut I posted this on a forum and they said it was just the purge valve clicking and that it was normal
mine sounds like it comes from the head. I have everything taken apart from the head and everything looks good . maybe I'm over thinking it. It sounds like bent valves
Michael Theut you would know if you had bent valves chain would skip timing and throw a code if it destroyed your engine..
Michael Theut post it on golfmk6.com with some details, youl get better information there
Yes forsure
