Hello, good morning from Brazil, i AM a chemistry teacher here, and i love so much Ths vídeo, really inspirational and captivational, só everyone to can enjoy science from every perspective... Please, the world needs more vídeos like this one!! Congratulations everyone involved!!!
Being pretty would already be enough for a great scientist, but surpassed the great knowledge and research for your young age. Continues like this, because the Nobel was already awarding paleontology areas as it awarded prize to Paabo . You are on this path. congratulations.
Dear Usha, thank you for the web talk, which I watched on-demand later. Enjoyed the science, nice graphics, and engaging style. I am not a PhD, but I supported myself as a graphic artist in the printing industry before and while obtaining a BS in chemistry. After I switched careers to science, then later management, I never stopped using my art background. At every company I worked, I was able to redesign forms and documentation systems for improved clarity, coherence, and visual appeal. I could not have imagined a nicer blend of disciplines in my career all the way to retirement four years ago. Wishing you all the best in your future work.
Excellent talk, thank you. Whoever thought that I'd find myself scouring the Internet for articles about Microbial Mats. In one photo that I found they looked like the layers of moss that I find growing on trees in the Olympic Rain Forest. Are they similar in biology? What about scale? In what areas of the world do they fossilize. The fossils look like sedimentary layers. Is that right? How long do they take to form? I'm fascinated. I loved seeing the pictures of your lab work. Thank you.
Hi Usha... Really enjoyed your presentation. I would really like to spend some time discussing more of the blend of art and science. Is there a way of you reaching out to me or I can reach out to you? True Regards, Howard Mauch
Great presentation. Very absorbing and illustrating. Hope this inspire young people to follow your steps into science, appreciation for life and nature. I hope Usha Farey Lingappa have a tik tok and whatever social media channels young people use, to reach out to them.
