- September is National Suicide Prevention Month and I wanted to cover a song that connected with this topic that is close to my heart. I still don't think I have the "best" words when talking about this. I just wanted to bring awareness to it because a lot of people are hurting right now and feeling very lonely as well as being isolated. A simple "How are you really doing?" or sitting with someone in their pain/grief can make a difference. My heart aches and grieves with anyone who has lost someone close to them through this and anyone who is contemplating ending their life.
I just want you to know I see you and that you are deeply loved.
I'm so proud of how far you've come and for making it one more day.
The deepest and darkest pain you are feeling right now is real, and I want you to know you are not alone though it might feel like it right now. God sees you. He sees the pain, the depression, the injustice you went through, the heartbreak, the losses, all of it. And yet somehow HOPE is still here and alive. You have a purpose here on this earth. You are worth living for.

My life has always been revolved around my siblings, nothing has ever been about me, no one pays attention to how I feel or what I want. 2 years ago I started planning my own death, self harming ect. Sure it felt good to be the centre of attention for about 2 days and I felt like I've been alone. Then I started drinking and smoking, vaping ect. And then I found God (I also heard your music) and your music changed my whole life. You showed me a part of life I was missing, you showed me I was UNKNOWN but with God I'm not unknown. I havent self harmed in 3 weeks and God has showed me that he wants me to be a worship leader 🥺. He told me that there are people out there who need me and I like to carry out his plan, but I'm scared, where do you think I should start?

Can't tell you enough how much I've connected to this cover, for so many reasons,having lost a best friend to suicide going through that point of view, a family member as well as gone through this myself, and the dark times in my life being so close to not being alive today, this song is really important and your cover gave me the feeling to keep going. All the things I've been through and that I am still going through, even though no one can change or fix it or stop it, you give me hope to hang in there and hold on. I feel dumb for crying to it but your voice with the song made me emotional because it really hits home. You've shown how important it is to reach out, to show that you actually care because at the end of the day, it actually can save a life. You sang it beautiful girl, keep being amazing. I can't thank you enough to for all you've done for me, always have but a lot more recently speaking about things that have genuinely help me, like your lives past few days talking about body image,eating issues and suicide, your words make such an impact.
