honestly in my opinion, scorch'mist is my favorite character. there's just something so amazing about cats who have a reason to become villains. I genuinely feel bad for her because she seems so upset about it but I also feel like she should've been exiled. Anyways in conclusion. Scorch'mist=amazing backstory and character development-
I think Scorchmist is just misunderstood. Hear me out. She lost her brother, Ashkit to a fox when they were children, she had to live with an injury her whole life, she was manipulated by Ashenfall, her mother and father were a bit too overprotective, and her best friend left her for a few moons. In my eyes, Scorchmist was manipulated into being this way. Ashenfall is the true villian, as he made her think that Stonefrost and Pebblestream were the true villians. Overall, she's one of my favorites in this story, and I love her.
I'm SO GLAD you're just as invested in Scorchmist as I am. She is a villian for a good reason and she is just a really really unlucky cat. Her attacking Pebblestream was all of her terrible events adding up and exploding. She is def misunderstood and I love her as a character
Stonefrost really deserved better. Edit: I really hope StoneFrost learns what willowmoon did. Especially considering what she did destroyed him. Like if he found out their relationship would be just troyed forever they wouldn’t even be friends anymore. Willowmoon really screwed up
Okay so he does find out and he's furious. They'd just gotten together a bit before Valley follows a patrol back to camp, and he goes out to their "secret spot' and they meet again. He's so torn up about it.
1) Valley went back to her original home where she lived previously with a kittypet named Ferdinand who was like a mother figure to her. Ferdinand helped raise her kits who were eventually adopted out. 2) He has behavior issues due to the stress put on him as a kit. Being abandoned, to being nursed temporarily by another Clans queen, then taken from there into FogClan really stressed him out even tho he doesn't remember much of it. So he fully believed as he was growing up that Dustfern was his mother and that he was born to FogClan until he meets his Uncle and he tells him the truth. He's furious and feels like he doesn't belong in the Clans, that he was above the code, and furious bc he was lied to about his upbringing.

They were supposed to just be "going on a walk" and accidentally walked into a nest of rats. Scorchmist was simply 'frozen in fear until the barn cats came to help. She runs away directly after though, but sweet sweet Pebble refuses to think it was intentional, despite Scorch attempting to fault her pregnancy once before. So no. The Clan was pretty much clueless about it. They only knew what Pebble repeated.

Hello there! I would like to ask if you have any tips of ‘Blending’ the stripes into the fur? I’m having trouble figuring it out. And love the art!
I do! Use an airbrush on the end of the stripes with the colour of the fur. It will give the stripes that 'blending into the fur' vibe!
