I originally paired them as mentor and apprentice because of their prefixes being bugs. And I wanted their personality to conflict a bit since they're both hot headed. I never thought about the whole hornets and bees not getting along thing!! That was such a happy accident lol

This is the best clan generator video EVER (In my opinion, of course). Now, I also have a few reasons for saying so. I was fed up with everyone else's videos being cut into parts. I just want someone to do one in just 1 video. I really love your commentary! I'm not really a fan of watching speedpaints without commentary. I love hearing the artist's opinion and thought process while drawing because it can be really inspiring and helpful. This probably being my preferred lenght of a video like this is the cherry ontop of the cake! I just really love your style of videos and I cannot wait to see more from you!

I almost considered splitting it into two videos if it had went over 20 minutes (the original recording without the cut out parts was around 22 mins) but i thought 6ish minutes a video was too short. I love these designs, and I am glad you did your research to make it as generically accurate as possible, but when there is a tabby + tortoiseshell or calico, the black spots became tabby too, (brown tabby) instead of the normal black + false orange tabby on non tabby calicos. (Sorry I’m a cat genetics nerd) 😜
I think this is probably one of the best warrior cats generator videos i've seen. I love how you go into detail about each cat and give them their own personality :)) I'm currently constructing my own clans but I'm not really making videos about them, and its more of a height chart than separate drawings. i really enjoyed this video! im not too into warriors anymore, but im so glad you did more than 1 or 2 characters like other youtubers seem to do, i think it made me more engaged and since you were constantly talking with the speedpaint, it was very easy not to get distracted
I actually really love Sootcloud. Strong silent and his design with the gray neck into some white and black tip tail are so nice. Simple design, not too extra but still unique. But I love how bright, red and yellow creamy colored the whole clan is! You were so creative and it makes me so happy that you drew some of them together
I generate a clan, and all the queens had the last name "Storm" and there were all some type of black cat so I made them all siblings 💀 I haven't drawn them yet tho 😭

I love all the designs you came up with for the cat of Oak-/ValleyClan among with the lore and character dynamics. I feel you managed to portray the personality of each cat well through the body language and expressions. As a side note, I am starting to believe the "pseudo-tabby" is more in reference to genetics, as from what I could see, all the pseudo-tabbies in the generator were either red or cream colored cats. Red and cream colored cats are interesting in the manner of always appearing to be tabbies, even if not actually possessing the tabby gene. So my assumption is that all pseudo-tabbies in the generator are genetically solid colored cats.

pseudo tabbies are more referring to the fact that even if a ginger cat is genetically solid, they still show stripes for whatever reason. so, hornet would be genetically solid, but showing stripes due to ginger being weird :)
My custom clan is called OakClan too! I didn’t use a generator though, my OC’S are on there. OddLeaf (Tom) is the main character and Owlpaw (She-cat) is a villain, BECAUSE YES MORE FEMALE VILLEINS! But yeah I made my own clan and their rival clan is Wolf’Clan, and the other 2 I’ll use a generator cause I just dont know anymore.

If these cats don't take place in Montana... then I am not sure what other real place they would fit at. Montana already had/have extreme flooding, and right now a huge fire alert.
Their reigon is based on the mountains/ forests of Germany! It's not a specific place, but the place they lived before the flood was a valley inbetween two mountains. Flooding is common in valleys during wet seasons often causing washout. They traveled away from the valley after the flood, settling down far away from the mountains

Dude I love your style! And the way you build the characters is just perfect! You really think about how all the characters attributes contribute to their personality and overall way they are perceived in the clan! If you don’t mind me asking, what brush do you use to make the stripes of the cats? It makes a really pretty organic look and I just have to see if there’s any way I could try it out! I can give credit if you’d like :))
No need to credit over a brush lol but thanks!! It's actually just the basic pen tool on SAI 😅 I kinda make these little itty bitty strokes with the brush I the direction of the fur pattern, and lower the opacity depending on the cat. I hope that helps a bit!
A pseudo-tabby isn't really a term used in cat genetics at all to my knowledge, but in that generator seems to refer to genetically solid red tabbies btw (seen in particular in the actual code where it takes the place solid does on any non-red colour, there actually seems to be an error where genetically solid reds are more common than genetically tabby ones)! In terms of how those look, no different from regular red tabbies Shameless plug, but if anyone is interested in a generator that tells you a cat's prior/future names and lists mentors for apprentices, I know of one
Sootcloud lol- my partner and i’s online names are Soot and Cloud and the oc i based my online name off of is also a selective mute due to throat problems (his voice box was injured (idk how yet) and so it hurts him to speak, and when he does (really only to his mate and siblings) its very rarely and he speaks slowly and a few words at a time- he looks very different tho lol (i made him like november maybe of last year and he is one of my more used ocs)

Their reigon is based on the mountains/ forests of Germany! It's not a specific place, but the place they lived before the flood was a valley inbetween two mountains. Flooding is common in valleys during wet seasons often causing washout. They traveled away from the valley after the flood, settling down far away from the mountains

Dude I love your style! And the way you build the characters is just perfect! You really think about how all the characters attributes contribute to their personality and overall way they are perceived in the clan! If you don’t mind me asking, what brush do you use to make the stripes of the cats? It makes a really pretty organic look and I just have to see if there’s any way I could try it out! I can give credit if you’d like :))
No need to credit over a brush lol but thanks!! It's actually just the basic pen tool on SAI 😅 I kinda make these little itty bitty strokes with the brush I the direction of the fur pattern, and lower the opacity depending on the cat. I hope that helps a bit!

Stormfoot is such a sweetie too, I felt bad about writing her that way but she plays an important part in Fennelpaw's story!
A pseudo-tabby isn't really a term used in cat genetics at all to my knowledge, but in that generator seems to refer to genetically solid red tabbies btw (seen in particular in the actual code where it takes the place solid does on any non-red colour, there actually seems to be an error where genetically solid reds are more common than genetically tabby ones)! In terms of how those look, no different from regular red tabbies

Sootcloud lol- my partner and i’s online names are Soot and Cloud and the oc i based my online name off of is also a selective mute due to throat problems (his voice box was injured (idk how yet) and so it hurts him to speak, and when he does (really only to his mate and siblings) its very rarely and he speaks slowly and a few words at a time- he looks very different tho lol (i made him like november maybe of last year and he is one of my more used ocs)
