Can’t wait to travel there again after the pandemic. Thanks for the great video!
Looking forward to travelling and retiring in the philippines. Thank you very much for a fantastic video, stay safe too!
Hi R, thank you so much for your kind comment.
My name is Samy, and I am a long-time partner of Ronin Blue. It is with great sadness that I announce Ronin Blue’s sudden passing of a heart attack on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Your support meant the world to him, and I wish you all the best with traveling and retiring in the Philippines.
Love, Samy

Great comprehensive presentation. Thank you.
My favorite travel advisor
Planning to retire there at 50 in 2024 after 15 years of OFW.
My condolences Samy, just read the description in the bio. ❤️ Sending you peace & comfort x
Whether it's the Philippines or Bali or some other country, all I know is that I don't want to live in America anymore

I was in the Philippines back in 77 and loved it. so glad to hear it is still nice and friendly. The only problem I can see is not being able ot own property... Hmm guess you have to find a mate you can trust... That was not so easy when I was there and I also know that the women can be ruthless once the get to America but perhaps in their home country it is different?
i'd really like it if you spent a little time on that subject. Thank you for all that you do. Blessings
The Philippines looks good for me i can deal with that
Great informative and detailed vlog. In your view is Manila or Kulua Lumpur cheaper, really value your opinion thanks
Which one is cheaper please KL or Manila?
Great analysis. $450K is 100% of what is comparable to US, which would be $900K.
In addition to Portugal my other home is Davao Philippines.
There's allot of new city in the Philippines not only manila and Cebu, try to research, all province's have there on airport, sea port going to manila daily, almost safe when you with local almost everywhere are local people with the helping hands in case of emergency or want to ask or talk, and lots of low price apartments, condo or house to rent, if want to know more Philippines just ask locals not foreigners,
Excellent docu... but totally wrong on historical facts from the spanish cultural side and its huge impact on filipino culture... the main reason why filipinos spanish and iberoamericans blend perfectly contrary to anglos
can we bring our pets ie dogs and cats without problems ??? ty
But the flights also cost some money.

If the Philippines ever opens up again, I may go back to live there, but certainly not in Manila. Too crowded, too many typhoons and so much flooding when it gets those.
I think its too busy to want to retire there
Makati $1.200 monthly budget? Or even $1.800?
I watch a channel about a couple who explain budgets, yes about $1200 - $1500PM that includes everything, however they don’t lead a lavish lifestyle.
your video is great but I love to go to Vietnam
For a better prospective watch some videos on people who have actually move there.
No. Uh ah. Nope. Retiring in Manila is one of the worst ideas you can have.
Yeah bulacan or cavite is pretty nice-metro manila properties are kinda expensive currently
Medical infrastructure is best in Manila. Outside has weaker less robust medical facilities. If you get into an accident or get very ill, you’ll want to be in Manila.
Otherwise ☠️
As a Filipino, if you really want paradise, go to the provinces. However if you got a little more money, and you want luxury, BGC would be perfect
I never will live in philippines. I didn't like it at all.
Manila is not my choice
Makati way better.
