- پاکستان اور انڈیا کے درمیان مئی سے جولائی 1999 کے درمیان کارگل جنگ لڑی گئی جسے پاکستان میں ’آپریشن کوہ پیما‘ جبکہ انڈیا میں ’آپریشن وجے‘ کے نام سے بھی جانا جاتا ہے۔
جنگ میں حصہ لینے والے کچھ فوجیوں کے خاندان آج بھی اپنے ان پیاروں کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں جن کی موت کی خبر تو آ گئی مگر وہ خود ہزاروں فٹ کی بلندی پر برف کی چادر تلے دفن ہو گئے۔
ان کی میتیں کیوں نہیں لائی گئیں اور ان کے اہلخانہ پر کیا بیتی، جانیے ہماری ویڈیو میں۔۔۔

Don’t forget your serving Navy officer Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav, and your Major involvement in killing of Pakistani In Samjutta express blast. Cowards never take back their dead. 93000 cowards surrendered to Indian army at Dhaka in 1971. Still they never learnt anything from history.
My Uncle who was lance Naik in IA killed 3 Pakistani SSG soldiers with Kukri and captured 1 SSG soldiers. He said bodies of dead Pakistani soldiers were rotting as in July as it is sunny. He told his CO about bodies and POW and he ordered him to stitch the bodies as the mortal remains of soldiers needed to returned. As soldier he was familiarised with Urdu one of the soldier was from Dandot. Then bodies was transported to lower area and then was buried.

Kargil was a sad memory for many, I m from Manipur India and I lost a friend who just got engaged. Worst thing was, his coffin was just his uniform and few fingers wrapped in an ice pack. No parents, no siblings, no fiancee, no friends can ever forget that, even if they want to.
Shame on Pakistani leaders who even refused to take bodies.
I thought Musharraf a great General but I feel shame to know after all this he is a coward no doubt who didn't even accept the bodies of those Martyrs who fought for Pakistan

India and Pakistan on verge of peace. Vajpayee sir came to Pakistan for discussions. But the Pak Army had to for no reason provoke the other side. When u look at it, the Army never wanted peace but the Pak ministers wanted.

I have visited Captain Saurabh Kalia (who attained martyrdom in Kargil)home 🏡 in Palampur, yeh bujurg ammi jaan ko dekh ke bas Captain ki mother yaad aa gayi. Life never remains same once u loose someone in family. Strength to such families
But there is a difference. Captain Saurabh Kalia's deadbody was returned bearing signs of extreme torture, genitals cut, eyes gouged out, multiple fractures, tongue missing. While, Ammar and Sher Khan bodies were returned by Indian army with civilized dignity and honour. In fact, the latter got awarded by Indian recommendation only. Pakistan army in deseprate search of heroes, even accepted enemy's claim.

They do or at least see animal sacrifice on their festivals or during other celebrations from a very young age as it is farz for them .Again, it is not applicable to everyone but majority of them perform these sacrifices. I am from Bhaderwah Jammu and Kashmir and a proud Indian.
At the age of 30, after reading for a couple of weeks, i came to realize that the Indian Army won the battle & fought extremely gallantly. It was an epic victory. Our Army fought well but this adventure shouldn't have happened. Resulted in the loss of so many human lives.

A Soldier is a soldier. A soldier doesn't fight for his personal gains or property instead he fights for his country and just follow order of his superiors.
And that's why after death a soldier must be given proper respect and dignity if he falls in his call of duty, his nationality doesn't matter once he falls.
By the way, I'm from India and I hope our Armed forces continue respecting fallen Soldiers.

Differences ni hoty to wars na hoti. 65 Indian aggression defended 71 indian support divided BD 99 Pakistani aggression stopped by west. Whoever wins or lost people Lost their lives to protect their land and interests. Pakistan should have gracefully accepted it's martyrs. For 11 years the Pak army refused to acknowledge the sacrifice and sense of duty of its own men. They were soldiers. Pathetic way to treat them.
Many good men lost due to an ill planned operation conceived by Musharraf.He committed this blunder without thinking about it's ramifications.The dead bodies of all Pakistani soldiers were buried by the Indian Army according to proper Muslim rites .Respect from India 🇮🇳

I was stunned to learn during the Kargil war Pak army said the dead soldiers were mujahideen and not Pak army personnel, and so refused to claim the bodies. What an insult to the departed soldiers who fought for their country. We were glad to learn the Indian army buried them with proper respect and ceremony. After all the departed one would have been a son, a husband and probably a father as well and just following orders.
My Mamu Havaldar Syed Touqeer Hussain Shah embraced shadat on 15th May 99 in the Gultari Sector. He was OCU by trade attached with 165 Mortar Regt. Artillery and I remember before leaving for the war zone he said to us that I will be back in coffin wrapped in a Pakistani Flag.
I still remember when his body came back there was a beautiful Smile on his face.

War battle is not good for anyone only bodies were returned weather dead or alive. I want to assure every parents, wfie and child from Pakistan your men after giving sacarifies they have be buried with full respect & honour in our land. Don't worry much we have given citation for your men and son to give them gallentry award. Innocent people from both the side are fooder for war. What is shame that Paskistani are not even accepting their regular men bodies. Atleast families are waiting for the closer of that aftermath. Story goes back to 1944 when my maternal grandfather fought the Japanese in Indonesia, in 1945 he fought Germans in Netherlands for British Indian Army. He was from Rajputana Rifles that’s based in Agra today, at that time his unit was posted at Rawalpindi Cantt where my eldest mama was born.
Later before retiring he fought against Pakistani Kabailis in 1948 Kashmir war. A funny incident he told was when they were having fun and light the holi bonfire the Kabailiyes came out of hiding behind the hill to surrender seeing smoke mistaking it for an attack.
Fast forward 1999, my father in law sacrificed his life in Kargil. I never met him as I married in 2010. I feel my wife’s pain and get very sad thinking about how her family coped with it.
My cousin(RajKumar Punia) and a close friends father(Mangej Singh) also sacrificed their life at Kargil. Sub Mangej Singh was in Saurabh Kalia’s backup party.
Another uncle won Mahavir Chakra. He is the famous and deadly Naik Digendra Singh.
My father too was in the army but didn’t see action as his unit was posted on border in Rajasthan.
I know many other close relatives who fought the war. One had a bullet pierce his ear while landing from parachute. A full night jagaran was done by his family for his safety.
I joined Indian military academy in 2005, seen action but took voluntary retirement in 2011.
Came to US in early 2012, settled here.
My children are US citizens not sure if they would carry the same love and pain for their parents motherland India.
I have Pakistani friends here, I say to them. "MERE DUSHMAN, MERE BHAI".

You are a good man Sir, you have a honourable family legacy. I am from rawalpindi, my grandfather was in British indian army and served at Burma front in the second world War.
Then after the partition he joined Pakistan army. Served in 1965 war as well . I hope there is never a war between us two nations. Pakistan is my current family, and Indians are my lost family.

My father was the 2ic of 18 grenadiers, he buried 5 pakistani boys with his own hands and shed a tear or two while doing the same. He wears a bracelet with the 10 names of the men he lost from his paltan, below theirs are the names of those 5 young Pakistanis who gave their life's for their nation without asking a question. It's truly sad this reality of theirs.
