Pretty much a couple of people from the panels going on in the other rooms came out and told us that we were singing along/cheering too loudly. So we had to stop singing, and the snapping was our way of showing appreciation for the awesomeness of StarKid.
Nick makes the cutest dragon noises ever. He really does deserve more credit, especially since he's such an awesome puppet-maker among other things! WE LOVE YOU NICK LANG!

Snapping is common in theater. It is like a quiet applause because you don't want to throw off a performance.
