As a person who does musical theatre, this is always how I feel at the end of a show. I recommend doing it, even if you think you don't have talent, you'll get stronger as you practice. Some community theatre/school productions have a thing where everyone who signs up gets at least an ensemble role, that's where I got started back in elementary school (but it's never too late to get started). I'm in high school now and even though I mostly get ensemble roles in musicals (I am good at Shakespeare tho) I can confirm that it doesn't matter the part you get, just being in the show is worth it. Even though I'm still mostly in the ensemble, my singing has gotten a lot better and my range is a lot wider.
Ella Banchieri i completely agree with this, i adore performing on stage and although im usually a main part it is still fun to make new friends with all of the cast and learn new skills with each show. Honestly if you can, do musical theatre it is so so fun
Only watched the Potter productions from Starkid but for whatever reason this song makes me tear up. Funny how you can become so connected to characters after only watching 6-7 hours of them.
Right though? I would argue I'm more attached to AVPM versions of Harry, Hermione, Ron, etc than I am to the real cannon ones. You really went on a journey with these guys, they're very relatable. They made you feel like their friends!

Seriously I think sometimes these musicals encapsulate Harry Potter and how much my generation loved them and grew up with them better than some parts of the books. This is no fictional series in my life that means more to me than Harry Potter. I'll never forget all the great memories and sharing them with so many people. It magic how this series really brought together the world for so many. I feel so lucky to grow up with Hogwarts. I know it will always be there to welcome me home.
