Dehydrating Hen of the Woods mushrooms

- Hi folks and welcome to Schick Happens. Fall is here, and with that, so is Hen of the Woods mushroom season. In today's episode, I discuss how I dehydrate these choice edible mushrooms. Freezing them works great for preserving, but drying them gives you another wonderful option.

I would enjoy the hunt with you but I’m not eating a mushroom no matter how you cook it. I like them cooked with things but not to eat the mushroom itself. Have a blessed week my friend.
I like them cooked on or in several things, just don’t like the texture. Maybe I’ll have to try a dehydrated one.

I'm willing to bet that the knife that you cut up those mushrooms with has never been washed. At least since I was there and you used it to slice limes.....rumor has it that there is a Les Paul trying to find its way to you..
