I would like to thank you for all of your videos you do on your inspections, and treatments. I just overwintered bees for the fourth year here in south-central Montana. The climate change from where you are to where I am is really different. Last night we had 15 degrees and today we have 27 for a high. So needless to say I can't go out and do any inspections. So watching you do your inspections, helps with the overwhelming urge to look at on my girls when I know I can't. Thanks again

Are you worried about splitting the existing brood cluster (such as it was) by reversing the boxes? I must have missed a video. Why do you go through winter with 3 deep boxes?

    • @jimbonevideo6941

I would not have reversed the hive. Kamon did it because he was comfortable with the weather being warm enough to avoid chilled brood due to cluster separation.
