In Time of War, Israel Commemorates Pentecost

JERUSALEM, Israel - In a time of uncertainty and war in the Middle East, beginning Tuesday evening, Israelis will mark the holiday of Shavuot or Feast of Weeks, mentioned in both the Old and New Covenants of the Bible.
The first biblical mention is in the Book of Exodus. “Observe the Festival of Weeks with the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Festival of Ingathering at the turn of the agricultural year. Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel” (Exodus 34:22-23).
In the New Testament, After His resurrection, Yeshua told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they received power from the Ruach HaKodesh, or Holy Spirit.

The Jerusalem match features people from the nations that go to Israel and celebrate the feast of Tabernacles or Booths (Sukkot).The rainbow still represents covenant as per book of Genesis.
