Yeah, I was surprised that they didn't do it in the Wrangler Duratrac though. I thought the ribs was just the new thing, but it's only in some of the tires. As you say, likely the larger ones only.

Those RC4WD Wranglers really fit that FJ, even though theres not much difference in height the Wranglers look so much better. Out of curiosity which company would you say has the stickiest compound in scale tyres ??
Thanks for the comment! They do look good, eh! Stickiest? Well... this new RC4wd compound with a tread this big seems like it would climb a wall! With that said, the PitBull Alien ones I have are really nice too.. really sticky. I've also heard from some builders that the larger boom racing tire sizes have a super sticky compound now. The tiny Boom racing Mud Terrains I have are also sticky, but thanks to the smaller tread blocks, you don't really 'feel' it as much as the larger treads. In any case, these new RC4wd tires are sure to hit the top for sticky and good designs. Really nice tires!
I like the look of the Ptibull Rock Beast Aliens but no where stocks them in the UK, Im using the Proline Flat Iron XL's at the minute, I like them but for my new project I fancy something smaller with a class 1 look. I like the tread on the RC4WD Wranglers, looks like it could be a good all round tyre and the renforced sidewalls is a nice touch, 1 of my local stores has them so might pick up a set after the holidays...
Those tires look amazing. Looking at the 1.55 version for my TF2. Just curious though, since the tires seem a-symmetric, woulnd't they be directional? In other words, shoulnd't there be different versions for the left and right side of the truck? RC4WD's site doesn't mention anything about this, so would appreciate some info on that.
They unfortunately only have one mold of the MTR so one side is going to look backwards. For as good as these tires are I am letting it slide. You will love them, best tiny tires I have ran!
