- Vue Glasses @vueglasses have followed up their Pro smart glasses with an affordable and more streamlined Lite version of their prescription and sunglasses offering.
The first thing that struck me was the design and the range of choices in frames and styles. Whether you are looking to get sunglasses or glasses with your own prescription, these are the option that to me looks and feels the least like a gadget and more like just regular spectacles.
While they may not have all of the range or features and functions of other, more expensive Smart Glasses, for most users for music, books and audio calls, these are probably the best choice, particularly if you don't want to break the bank.

I find these glasses quite tempting, but I don’t really get if it’s possible to wear them around people without having them hearing everything they’re playing.
If they're on full volume someone standing close will probably hear since they're speakers rather than bone conduction, but when I use at about half volume seems like people can't hear unless they're standing very very close. It's not perfect but generally people don't notice outside, but might in a quiet room.
Nice idea. Site seems to be US only and not clear if there is an EU distribution. An additional 200 USD for varifocals but still tempting. The pro is also interesting.
Based in Ireland myself and they shipped here no problem so shouldn't be an issue :)
Don't buy the PRO.
I supported them on Kickstarter and have the pro. The bone conductive is just not good enough.

Great interview. But the question remained unasked, can I get busted while wearing them in class lol?
I think most places have some rules about that alright. Someone walking past you during an exam might definitely be able to hear the audio for example :D
how do you like these compared to the razer anzu? I wear anzu every day and i was looking for something a bit lighter that put less stress on my ears. Do you find them to be more comfortable over time? Are they worth the investment? Also, its pretty important to me that google assistant works well. Are you able to just do the ok google while the phone is locked?
So for the price the design is great and they are light and most like sunglasses but the Razer is much better sound particularly in louder areas. Over time I've found the voice assistant function on these very frustrating as the tap isn't very accurate, you can't trigger with just voice you need your finger and lock screen blocks almost all actions. I like their design and the fact that they're less recognised as smart glasses but I tend to use the phone for control and voice assistant tbh.
Can it show me answers in exam?
In theory... you could ask it if you were quiet but you won't see anything on the glass. You'd just gesr responses...
Wouldn't be ethical, though..... check out Xreal AR glasses instead for a display screen on glasses.
