Some time after I made this I stumbled across superpeel.com/ and saw I wasn't the first with this idea. Also not sure if ideas like this are patentable at all, I'd guess it's much too obvious anyway. But thanks for the comment 😊
Hi, You are correct. Getting a patent for this design would not be possible, as it falls within the scope of the claims in my US patent. Though now expired, the patent would still represent "prior art" and preclude patenting worldwide. However, it is a clever modification. You might have been able to get a design patent for it, but its been out in the public now for over a year. Because of this, it's too late now. Innovation never ceases......
