1) Aaaah....of course the "concrete" facility are near wt sea-port coz SANDS are "steal/smuggle" .....oops my mistake, buy cheaply from DESTROYING indonesia sea-ecosystem coz of sea dragging (impressive, singapore are Sooooo into Green sustainable & cleaner....eeeh😊).....only NIHAO PRIVIET maybe Salam from ASEAN 🤘
2) Aaaah....of course the "concrete" facility are near wt sea-port coz maybe it will be SEND to isthehell regime by ships to "join in hands" wt the "regime" to re-purpose @ re-build Gaza or Lebanon coz only "them" can AFFORD anythg that are produce or manufacture from singapore......right...😊.....only PRIVIET NIHAO maybe Salam from ASEAN 🤘
Basically cement, gravel, sand, water with port facilities. Question - At what capacity utilisation can we get breakeven revenue. What is the depreciation and maintenance annual cost. In the future, modular construction is the trend with robotic technology. Have we considered new construction methods. Facts. 1. Steel components. 2. Aluminium composite components. 3. Glass components. 4. Ceramic composites components. 5. Cables - copper, fiber glass. 6. Internal marble, rock, basalt, wood paneling, plastic, sealants items. Based on future technological development, I forsee the basic cement, gravel, sands components use will be reduced AND a MONOPOLISTIC environment could appear. Is this facility only for HDB, HUDC, JTC, and large construction firms use only. Interesting development. 😂❤
Concrete after mixed cannot be carry over a long distance as it will harden within a short time. Shouldn’t various batching plants be situated around Singapore instead of one location at Tuas. Tuas can be the main supplier of materials.
If the contractors getting cheaper finished concrete delivered wherever the sites are then is good news to the public in particular in terms of housing cost.
If after much discussions with all the industrial players concluded cost saving from centralising production and land leasing costs in the finished concrete per cu meter wherever the sites are then is good news to the public.
Setting time depends on the mix and Singapore is not that large. The engineers probably have done the calculations. There are economies of scale and pollution control involved
were these plants owned by private companies? cuz they would be uncompetitive and may be forced to close down? economy of scale is well and good of course.
This would make SG's supply chain vulnerable to disruption and cultivating a big monopoly. SG is heading in the wrong direction and on the decline. This is all PAP's fault.
But it is only a $200 million port, integrated processing and will be completed by 2030. The future is likely to be more modular so robots can be used. Singapore construction material is worth $32 billion. So let's see. 😂❤
This development could increase construction cost. The basic cement, gravel, sand construction method could change in the future. It could be more MODULAR in nature. Example use of high strength steel, more tempered glass, aluminium composite, plastic composite, fiberglass composites, ceramic composites, we seen on RUclips basalt composite, and more traditional wood, leather, foam, etc materials. The pertinent question is the VOLUME, and BREAKEVEN cost. When would this site be obsolete. 😂❤
But a $200 million facility is probably very small. Let's see more detail. If the TREND goes more MODULAR, our container port, cargo port, liquid port, grain port is quite sufficient. 😂❤

First the cronies do precast concrete with hdb use mandatory and buildings are limited in height due to lack of structural strength in the joints. That monopoly caused property to skyrocket as land are not well utilised. Now the monopoly of material supply. Expect more expensive housing due to such crooked people.
Mr. Wong of BCA. Very good Can Mr. Wong introduce the R&D grants for the CONSTRUCTIONS FUTURE. Can we help MoE with CLIMATE CONTROL, for our schools to do solar shielding to cool assets with ventilation, filter, and air safety with sensors at low cost. 😂❤
The PAP eliminated all cement producing plant after the 90s and now want to restart this?

Very innovative
So EXCITING.
Lawrence of Singapore, MISSION POSSIBLE.
We can do it.

Amazing
永新 project.
Megacity Singapore 🇸🇬
Step by step. 一步,一步.

so the conveyor belts operate from air power?

Jurong port also took a bite at the commercial sense to pay for the CEO lifestyle
