I played this as a kid and let me tell you it was brutal and if you were dead than you were back to the beginning. Never got past the 6th level unfortunately. Now I have the urge to finish this. Great great game!
It was an amazing game, the last game I bought in my NES collection. The review didn't give the game what it deserves regarding mechanics, u have different kinds of dodge or attacks. U can turn into sorcerer with different abilities.
The graphics and music are top-notch for the NES but to me, the difficulty is super hard. If you manage to get past the difficulty you may be able to win. Very fun.
I've own this game as long as I can remember. I love the graphics, the soundtracks and the atmosphere. But, Its too fucking difficult. I really dont like limited continues.Makes me wanna quite I cause I just cant find the stratigies.... If anyone have any tips I would love to know!
I've always wanted this one. How much did it set you back? If you're looking for an actual hidden gem get AD&D Pool of Radiance. It's probably my fav RPG on the NES. I had it on my old IBM back in the day so I picked it up when it came out. It's fantastic!
you brought me to memory lane. In second grade 1992 had my first NES, had mario/duck hunt, blaster master and sword master... loved the music, until today, the soundtrack brings me back to saturday mornings of gaming.
Great video on this game, I couldn't get past the 4th level boss. On NES I think 3D World-Runner is a great "Hidden Gem", cheap and usually overlooked, but it's a lot of fun.

It’s actually pretty damn rare. Up there with Dragon Fighter, Little Samson, Power Blade 2, Panic etc.
