👍💯🏴🇬🇧 really lovely painting of this rural scene. I like that you changed your mind a few times in the process and I agree with you that the old tree near the middle ground was better left out of the composition. Love the colours you have used to.😊
Very nice to have the painting, the palette, and the scene being painted simultaneously in view. Watching the evolution of the painting makes for a wonderful learning experience. Thanks.
Jose, 42 years oil painter, now Plein air with acrylic, been watching your videos and love that you show your palette along with your painting. Learning so many technics and finding out how to paint loose...appreciate that you share so much. Thank you, Phyllis
Thank you very much..You really show what painting is...especially oil painting is.. It is a really fantastic lesson to all painters, either beginner or pros..
Thank you Jose'. Another wonderful painting. I like it when you show that if you change your mind with something in the painting that oils are very forgiving and it's ok to change. Thank you again!!
Lovely video. i love jose's technique and the results are beautiful! Thank you so much... I'm just learning to use oils and this is very useful to me... plus and enjoyable experience. Thanks again, jose!
Does anyone know what that clapping/cracking noise is at the very beginning of this demo and seems to always be here and there in almost every demo vid I've watched with Jose. I don't mind it. And I LOVE the demos! But I just find myself trying to figure out what it is and who is doing it. JUST CURIOUS! ahhhhh! lol
Merci Jose beautiful art, beautiful music, and bird song also the sound of a river in the background, all I needed was a nice glass of wine!!!please look after that bad cough ,we are nearly the same age!! so look after yourself😁 Mairead Harkin in Ireland
+Enid Goyers Thank you for José colors palette : titanium white, lemon yellow, orange-yellow, bright red, dark ultramarine blue, olive green, burnt umber, black ivory
your painting on board this time jose, i use the rough side of hardboard sanded down sometimes as i find the smooth side to slippery ,but i need prsctise i think ! the rough side uses to much paint maybe? whatever the case another lovely video,we are very lucky that you post these great video's ,hugely inspiring merci beaucoup.
Another nice painting Jose. You used a limited palette what colours did you use please, I can see what they are but just need to check what green what orange ect that you used. it looks very close to my own limited palette. Thanks John Dee
+John Dee Hi John. Thank you for José. Colors palette : titanium white, lemon yellow, orange-yellow, bright red, dark ultramarine blue, olive green, burnt umber, black ivory
Yes your work is truly professional and done with passion and love !well done!!Please a question:do you prefer large canvas?and which is your favorite prime color for the background?do you think it works well with a similar slightly different colors ?Thank you so much -- my best wishes
Thank you so much David for José.I know that José prefer the large canvas, but it's difficult to transport them to go out. For practical reasons, most of the time, José works whit canvas 10 F or 12 F. José uses a sublayer (gesso: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gesso). It's grey. I never seen worked whit another thing. One reason is the gesso dried the paint. I've already seen painters work using red. I think it's because red is a complementary color, but it's a little mysterious to me...
Grazie Jose!!!!...hai fatto bene a rimettere la tavolozza diventa, più comprensibile il tuo modo di lavorare.Ho visto che non hai la tela..si tratta di legno o di cartone telato?Ciao!!!
