You really had command of the brush in this painting. The brush was flying, held loosely in your hand. Mixing color decisively. Impressive to watch. I was waiting for the whole easel to go flying down the beach at one point!
I completely agree with your comment. Jose's command of the brush and his swift application of colour are a pleasure to watch. It is fascinating to see how he lays down various blocks of colour to begin with and then moves into them with other tones and highlights to create depth and texture. It is instructive to see him in action. He's certainly inspired me with my painting.
Thank you so much…..just amazing to see the cliffs with their shadows and bright lights appear so miraculously towards the middle. Love the highlights you added to the cliff at the end. Great colors in the sea and the sparkle of the bright day is captured perfectly. So good…….more, more.
Jose, I would love to see a video of you arriving at a location and setting up, in order to see how much/little you pack, what you pack, how you set up, how long it takes for you to set up and/or break down. Just an idea for a short video that would be very instructive for us en plein air painters. It appears that your limited palette is three primaries, a dark umber or sienna, and white, and that your only medium is likely mineral spirits. How do you secure your palette to stay put on its shelf? It appears that you use two brushes (!) maximum. What musical instrument did you play in your former life?
So nice to see you do another seascape. The sunlight on the cliffs and water are brilliantly rendered. A joy to watch you at work as always.

Hello kommi. It's because I did the editing like that, nothing more, nothing less.
However, if you have got some sugestion, please, give me.

Excellent!! I see that maybe you switched from canvas to panels?
thanks Thomas .. small formats on panels

Do you use the small formats as studies for studio paintings or do you strictly paint plein air?
try to always work plein air ... !
