My storage cubes were damaged by a leak so I am going to recycle them also. Thanks for sharing. By the way liquid mail comes in tube and can be applied using the caulk gun. It is so handy to set up wood before you nail when working alone.

Great job!!! Im inspired. looking for ideas to repurpose mine. Any particular reason why you didnt reuse the backboarding? seems like it would have made the placemat material more sturdy.

Does it stay sturdy? I know the ones we have get wobbly with out the back boards and I'd love to try this project.
Yes this one is really sturdy. The back boards didn't really add much stability and it stood well on it's own.

Really cute baby! The wood looks nice added to the furniture, but the placemats look awful.
Thanks for watching and you can totally use something else. Those placemats just aren't your preference so the word awful is a little harsh.
