wow. I love my 9mm PCCs and I'm sure the 10mm will only make it even more enjoyable, it's making the choice where to start. My side charging 8" AR9 is my favorite, I like your 10mm Hi Point with that Vortex Red Dot Box. It seems like a gun I could wear out at 100 yards. :)
Great information and spot on as usual, glad to see your doing video's more often again. hope to see one one the RT1500 when you get it set up. I can't wait to get to casting and reloading again, may get my new leg around Christmas
I definitely agree its alot easier to shoot a 45acp carbine accurately at over 50yds. I have the Hipoint in 45acp and I did the Mcarbo trigger spring job which helps the trigger a little. I also did the 1911 magazine mod, so I use the Pro Mag 15 round stick mags for 1911, and get flawless functioning. I also have the 28 round drums and sometimes you'll get jams, sometimes flawless. Probably something in my handloaded ammunition. One you didnt mention is the Mech Tech pistol carbine uppers. It takes the frame of a 1911,Glock or a couple others. Lots of choices, 9mm,10mm,45acp ....but they are the only company I know of that makes a PCC for 45 Super...which is what I want. Hopefully by early 2022 I'll have one!
yeah, there are so many options out there, and I didn't get to mention them all... Do you think that the Mech Tech's have become obsolete with the other PCC options out there? I mean besides the 45 super?
Just wanted to point out that I have a 10mm direct impingement AR that I built with an upper from Macon Armory, and an Angstadt Arms lower. Cycles my cast/powdercoated bullets like butter.
I had an FM 9 and it was dangerously defective. It slam fired and full auto fired. They use(d) a proprietary firing pin spring that is too *weak* to overcome the inertia of the firing pin inertia and that leads to slam fires upon bolt closing! 😲 I returned it to the factory for a refund. There is thread on it at Brian Enos's forum.
S&G ammo has 5.56 for the same price as 9mm. I just would not want to bring a pistol to a rifle fight. But yeah, if thats what you have, then thats what you need to practice with, I suppose.
yeah me too... I like rifles better for rifle purposes, but in some scenarios there may be some overlap. I haven't bought factory 223 or 9mm for several years--been loading both of them for a while. Prices are weird right now--but USUALLY 9mm is cheaper than 223/556 and 300 blk
I like how the psa arv takes scorpion mags, I want to build a Han Solo 9mm survival pistol like the ones you guys did, that thing was awesome.
I have the Ruger PC 9mm take down - love it shoots great.
They do shoot well, and are very reliable
Great video I need to add a 9mm PCC thanks for sharing
yeah man, you won't regret it
All good points .
Thanks James!
Mike has undoubtedly pushed me to build an AR-9... The only regrets I have now, lil hawk drains the primer stash
Lol the fastest primer eater... The AR9!

thanks, and when the RT1500 arrives I will have to do a video for sure... just gotta wait patiently for it to arrive :)
I agree. 10 great reasons👍🏻. Hope you and the family have a great Thanksgiving Taco 🦃😬
Yeah man, happy thanksgiving!
Good stuff Taco.. thanks!
thanks uncle john!
I have the " Little on the ugly side " Ruger PC9, but it's fun :-))
Maybe a red dot would help ? Have a good weekend.
I enjoy my Ruger PCC

Man, I want a PCC now but don't want my wife upset with me...
lol, tell her you are just "saving money"

@@FullLeadTaco I think YT automatically deletes posts with URL's in them?
@@uclajd yeah, I have 2 x 45 acp uppers from Macon Armory, they make good stuff
There's one Marlin 1894 in 9mm that I know of in the UK

I’m holding out for a foxtrot Mike’s 10mm
yeah, that should be a good one.

Dang, what did the FM guys say?
@@FullLeadTaco they’re supposed to make an upper that fits the FM45 lower. It was supposed to be out a year ago tho?
@@uclajd I’ll check that out
Sub 2K & TNW Aero! Fast & Fun! Good stuff Taco! Mike.
yup, those are both good options, I just don't love the sub2k with the top of the stock which kinda bumps the big ear pro.
skip the PCC, get a PPC
PPC?

Taco! What up!?
PCC's... that's what's up! Actually just barely bought a Palmetto AK-V in 9mm--love it!
