Hello. New subscriber here. I'm new to grilling and your channel is very helpful. I have a question. Have you tried grilling other fruit besides pineapple?
That's a good question. The boning knife isn't as tall, so it's easier to maneuver than a chef's knife when you cut the rind off. The chef's knife is a lot better at every other part of it though.
The base could be sweetest for your because you had your pineapple upright the whole time. Before you cut your pineapple up you should cut the top off first, flip it over and let it rest for 30-60 minutes. This time should allow the juices to redistribute so the pineapple should have sweetness throughout or at least that's the idea.
A lady told me that when I lived in Hawaii. There must be something to it. Every time I've done that the bottom was still pretty sweet and the pineapple was good too. So maybe...
@@GrillTopExperience lol. Pineapple waste in the beginning put me off but the rest of the vid and your demeanor was great. I checked out a bit of your channel and picked up some tips. You just earned a sub! Carry on!
Oh man I love grilled pineapple. Can't beat the carmelization flavor.
Great tips on how to cut the pineapple!
Thanks so much! I watched a few people at roadside stands and they could rip through it in just a few seconds!
Looks good! Never tried it but will make a point of it now! Thanks!!
Thanks, Scott. Let us know how it turns out.
Hello Ryan 🙋🏻♀️ great informative video 👍 I agree with your point of view ✌️ thanks for sharing the recipe too.🙏🌺🌿💝
Thanks! The important thing is that you get out and grill. 🍍
Love grilled pineapple! I always thought it was difficult to cut a pineapple, but it really isn't! This looks delish!
It's kind of like cutting up a whole chicken. Once you've done it a couple of times it gets a lot easier.
*_New here. I love grilled pineapple right of the grill Thanks for sharing. I have an electric grill_* .🙂
Electric grills are great too. Enjoy, and don't for get to share some.

I hate being nosy, but why do you use a boning knife for cutting pineapple, is there some sort of advantage I don't know about?

I like pineappl;e on pizzas too bro we out here
Hawaiian pizza is the only pizza for me!
We are kind of weird and do pepperoni and pineapple, which is a combo I didn't try until I met Mrs GTE. Thanks for voting in my favor!
I literally could smell that on the scene where you grabbed a piece. But then you had to go and ruin it for me by putting it on PIZZA!!! 😂
Ha ha! To be fair, that was the next day, but I know there are lots of people who say pineapple should not go on pizza.
