just something to consider if you get a change, try to purchase a good set of tops and bottoms thermal long johns and thick sock a nice weather coat my 2cent suede coat that way you will not have to put on to many layers. Yes putting on layers of clothing will keep you warm but it will cause you to sweat more making you if more uncomfortable.

I know you like to get what prime recommends but when the weather is bad always stay as full as possible on fuel because you never know when the power will be out at your next fuel stop or you get stuck for a few days in a storm. Just from someone that has been doing this for 30 years.
Be safe and stay warm. Reminder Carry extra fuel in the winter just in case you get stranded for two or three days last thing you want is to run out of fuel. A little extra weight on those drives doesn't hurt. Enjoy riding with ya!

No matter how long I lived here, I never got used to a snow storm as normal, ice is worse. Drive slow with Good Tires. Thats why the accidents.

Thermal is cold,try some flannels pj , I am a NY girl , pantyhose,which is breathable,thermals cause you to sweat and causes you to be colder

Also, keep this tip in mind. If it’s near 35 degrees or lower; that’s snow and ice weather. If it looks like it’s wet; it’s ice.

In the cold freezing weather u need air line antifreeze it keeps your breaks from freezing up.
Some advice in this freezing weather when you park don't set your trailer brakes.Moisture in the lines may freeze and the won't release.
