Can't understand why the doc. "Hijacked: Flight 73" skipped Pan Am Flight 103. SMH.

Disgraceful. They don’t even mention Neerja Bhanot. She saved everyone.

This was a breaking news report and it is probable that Neerja’s name and death were not released yet.

@@PanAmMuseum The passenger that survived sounds like a real piece of work. He sound ungrateful that she saved his life twice and probably more times than that with her stalling and negotiating tactics.

    Dear friends.
I need some clarification for class 7th term 3 unit 2 prose *A story of self sacrifice and bravery*
this lesson I have already taken but some questions students asked .
I am not able to answer .
if anyone knows how to answer please help.
    1. the flight pan am is standing in the airport for around 17 hours in karachi airport. then why Nobody Came from control room to help.
    2. when Neerja collected passport from all passengers and put it in the rubbish chute , at that time why the terrorist's did not take action
    3. when Neerja went to save three children last only she got gun shoot. the question is where were the parents ? did they leave the children and go?
    4. why didn't the people shoot when the passages escaped one by one. There were 4 terrorists.
    5. what did the airport authorities do when sending all the passengers one by one. normally when anybody is coming inside the aeroplane they will check . how the terrorist came inside with all the guns and arms.
    7. where there only one Neerja? what about other flight attendants or air hostess? There were 360 passengers.
    8. when pilot escaped through alternate way didn't terrorists notice?
    9. why didn't pilots inform the control room or others???

Thank you for your questions. Keep in mind this was a hostage situation with armed terrorists.
We suggest you listen to these two episodes of The Pan Am Podcast for first hand accounts in detail about this incident:

For point 2, Neerja and the flight attendants collected all passports after one of the passengers, Kenyan-born Indian-blood American real estate businessman Rajesh Kumar was short, and it was her idea to hide the American passports by either pushing them them under seats or placing in seat back pockets. The hijackers then decided to take a British passenger hostage; the Briton was one of the survivors of the incident.

This was the flight with the smart flight crew that locked the flight station entry door, opened the cockpit windows and used the emergency decent reels / ropes..
